I'd take Radulov if he was willing to come over and prove himself first...on a 1 yr 3-4m dollar deal..but he'll probably be asking for 6+ to come over.

I don't see Radulov ever coming back to N/A. I said he's an headcase but I also believe something is rotten in the Preds management. Say what you will about Radulov and AK for being 1 hour late after the curfew, yes they broke a team rule but Nashville handled this story very very badly too. They let 2 of their key players getting burned by the media and their lies in the middle of their playoffs campaign. If Teows was doing exactly the same thing with Chicago, I don't think they'd be ok to wash their dirty linen in public.

Erat asking out at the deadline just can't be another coincidence IMO.

That's Pete and his lefties on left and righties on right ********. Why can't exceptions be made and why can't guys play on their off wing? That reall handcuffs things I think and I'll never agree with it but some here act like every coach in the league does it and how it's a must.

I believe Debeor let some players off-wing when they're defensively responsible. Zubrus for example.

I do not understand. Tallinder is playing physical and he looks angry out there. Why does he not play like this in the NHL?

Nobody can assualt him during an IIHF tournament. I bet he`s scared to do that **** in the NHL because he knows he`d get pummeled.

Or he`s being held back by Lou & Pete.

Tallinder has shown flashes of this type of play with us but it never is consistent.

Radulov is making $9 M. What would have to happen for him to take a 50% pay cut? I dunno; seems unlikely. IF, big if, Ilya had a heart-to-heart and convinced him to not be a turd AND Radulov took that 40-50% pay cut, man that would be a fun first line.

Radulov has been suspended by his KHL club multiple times iirc, it's not impossible that he gets cut, however it's unlikely.

It really pisses me off that Kovy excels on LW, but DeBoer forces him to play RW.

And now Switzerland beats Czechs!

Hop Suisse!

Seriously though, Niederreiter is having one heck of a tournament so far. Good for him.

When I said flashes with Tallinder, I meant very rarely but when he scores goals (rarely) he is very assertive on the play. Ik the line is together now but between those three, magic would happen...

The year Kovalchuk put up his career high 98 points in a season he had 41 even strength pts. Last year playing RW he had 49 even strength pts.

I thought you meant what he did. Physicality and a mean streak.

Think he had had 5 even strength goals. One was a 4 on 4 OT goal.

Have to confirm that with Jim though.

As much as I hate trashing Pete it's his ''Righties on right, lefties on left'' prerequisite that keeps Kovy from being on the LW. It's also the reason why we've seen so many weird 1st lines like Ponikarovsky as 1st line LW. Really? To be fair though we didn't have six top 6 forwards this year anyway.

I wish Pete would let people play on their off wing if it's gonna benefit the team. The only time I remember him going against this was the geezer line with Sykora-Elias-Zubrus. All three are lefties.

Did everyone else struggle this year because Kovy was playing RW.

You don't think he could have been better if we tried him on LW?

If he's gonna play on RW then you need to put someone like Parise on his opposite wing. Not the likes of Alexei Ponikarovsky.
