How is that in any way relevant to the problem at hand? The Habs have to make Anderson`s life difficult,he will give us no weak goals.
And our biggest problem is that everybody on the team knows how to score on a good goalie, but almost no one is willing to pay the price.

Bourque's goal last game was pretty weak.

part of solving anderson is having our goalie make big saves at key times.we can solve anderson all we want but it dont matter when price cant shut the door.to have a chance against anderson and ott the game needs to be kept close.

ottawas record lately when scoring 3 or more goals per game is scary good.i knew it would come down to price vs anderson.i woulda rather face any other goalie in the east than anderson.

another stat?price has made an initial save on just 2 of 11 goals against so far.pretty hard to solve the oppositions goalie with that happening.

Price fights Anderson. Buday fights Lehner. All goalies ejected but we have Ryder we can insert Habs win the game.

1. Most of the shots we get on Anderson are right at his chest or at his five-hole/into his pads. When we get clear looks, we need to be trying to pick the corners more often. Shots at the chest are usually swallowed by goalies that are on their game like Anderson. Shots into the pads only work if we have bodies going to the net for a rebound.

2. We need more traffic in front of the net when we have possession. Anderson is seeing way too much. As long as there is traffic, we don't need a sniper taking a shot... just get it at the net and it might just go in or pop loose to somebody for an easy tap in.

3. Get more shots from the point through to the net on the PP. We aren't getting the point shots through on the PP that we were getting so often during the season. We have to move the puck more quickly and accurately in order to do this.

Give credit to the senators on limiting our chances. Anderson is seeing a lot, and their skaters are getting in the lanes blocking shots very effectively when he doesn't.

We need to bring our intensity up to the level it was at in Game 2 if we want to win Game 4.

Crash the net. Make Anderson's life hard.
We are only taking easy shots so he only needs to make the easy saves.

Traffic, deflections, screen shots, etc. Same garbage everyone says when it comes to playoffs. Yet we do the same garbage plays where people stay on the side and hope he gives up easy tap-ins or throw the puck on net from the perimeter instead of from the slot with the defender as a screen.

Seriously

Solving Anderson is like trying to solve every other good goalie in the NHL. Crash the ****ing net, traffic in front of him, etc.

There aren't 98 ways to beat him. Shooting from the blue line every time we have the puck won't help us.

Everyone just needs to take some pointers from Gallagher and we'll be okay.

Just put pretty 'ice girls' on the ice while we play to distract him:

Hahahahaha awesome! Imagine if the Habs just put the average female fan out there... (that is called home ice advantage!)

Just saw the Caps-Rangers highlights. Two good goalie.

Just one after the other, top corner goals.

a) Price gets **** for those
b) WHY do we never even get OFF shots like that. I can't remember anything close to that by us. It's like we're not allowed to shoot good wristers (see Patch's outside lamers). Our goals must be off PK slappers, tap ins, trickle ins.

Last I saw anything close to sweetness in the shot department was Bourque's backhand above Anderson's shoulder near side. That was sick actually. More of that please.

Are you just going online and looking at the stats instead of watching the games? Price played lights out in game 2 and we won. What else happened that night? The team put in a 100% effort for 60 minutes.

Last night, no one in front of Price showed up. It should have been 4-0 in the first 10 minutes if not for Price. There's only so much a goalie can do when he's left out to dry by his teammates.

Carey Price is not the problem.
