He's pretty much the same size as Shinkaruk. Are people worried about his size (I honestly don't know)? If the measurements are accurate, it looks like Shinkaruk has an inch on Domi, but Domi has about ten pounds on Shinkaruk.

The height might be off but I wouldn't doubt the weight. He's pretty stocky and often described as one the stronger players in this draft.

Shinkaruk's listed as 5'11" 175 lbs on the WHL website. Domi has 20 lbs on him if both of them are accurate.

I'd be more worried about him going the way of Daniel Briere, prior to Buffalo saving his career from the gutter.

I don't think he's anything like Briere. I don't think he has to be in the top 6 to be successful at the NHL level.

Anyone think 11 would be too high for Anthony Mantha? If we're going forward, I want a big bodied winger who can skate and shoot the puck and can launch one timers.

Perhaps if we trade back for multiple firsts we could grab Ryan Pulock and Anthony Mantha, both of whom are slated to go anywhere between 10-20.

I just don't see us moving down from 11 to getting 2 picks between 15-20

Maybe if we had a top 7 or so pick, but we'd have to add currently

Yeah. At this point, I'm looking at either Nurse or Ristolainen if they're there, or Pulock or Zadorov. I'm not THAT high on Zadorov. Frankly I need to see more offensive tendencies from him to believe that he can be what this team needs. I like Pulock a lot. He's a very well rounded, all situation d-man and has a bomb of a shot.

Neither. Bowey or McCoshen does it for me. If they aren't available, Steve Santini would be another guy to look at. I really hope that they replenish the system with high end defensemen.

I wouldn't get my hopes up on the idea of this organization drafting defensemen with their first two picks (as much of a good idea as it may sound) unless we acquire some more picks.

Curious, what kind of player would Horvat be? For some reason, when I look at his goal scoring and size, he reminds me of Gagne... but that's really it.

Strong two-way forward. Many consider him to be the best penalty killer in this draft class.

Yep, I've seen him compared to players like Backes and Bergeron in different scouting reports

I've seen people say Ryan O'Reilly too. I don't know how accurate that is though.

I'm going to see if I can get into Rexall either tomorrow night or Wed. night to see the Oil Kings/Portland game.

See Seth in real life.

I hate living far away.
