Jeff Carter, noted playoff choker

I'm glad it looks like Sutter has consolidated his talent into lines. It looked kinda like he was trying to roll with a 3 line scoring system, and I don't think they have the amount of offensive talent to do that and score on St Louis. Their best bet is to try 2 really good lines. No idea why Richards and Carter were apart.

We've seen it constantly, but it's probably still unique out West.

I can't believe Flyers fans have a worse reputation than them. I don't think any Philly fan would ever do something like that.

Exactly what you're doing with Toronto is the same reason people do it for here. Lumping everybody together because of one jack***.

Wow, the audible on that Go Kings Go chant sounded like Howard's mother from Big Bang Theory.

I think it's Cartman's voice from South Park they use for that chant.

Bad pinch by the Blues, 3 on 1, tied game.

Shattenkirk looked terrible there too. He's gotta get down and take away the pass.

That's some passing. Who was defending that? He just froze. At least neutralize one passing lane.

Shattenkirk. He needs to get a lesson on 3-1's from Kimmo.

Yeah. He makes that EASHL "lay down and be an obnoxiously impenetrable object" D stretegy feasible in real life.

Shattenkirk followed the Matt Carle school of D there...skate backwards until you're in the net.

But I thought Shattenkirk was the greatest thing since sliced Orr on defense. How could he mess up a defensive assignment like a mere mortal?

The amount of interference that is done by defensemen when the puck is dumped in really bothers me.

Does Brunner not use a composite stick? The shaft looked like it but the blade looked like wood unless it was painted to look that way.

Yeah, how useless were the two Ducks defenders, chasing Nyqvist on the breakaway? Allen dove to try to knock the puck away, but the other one just shadowed Nyqvist down and didn't make a move to pick up Brunner. Hiller made not only the stop on the breakaway, but stuck his leg out to stop the deflection off Allen. Brunner was left to stand alone on front of a sprawled out Hiller and casually flip the puck into the yawning net.

He might use a stick with a composite shaft and a wooden blade.

I looked up some pictures on Google. Looks composite to me...
