Skinner's a winger in the NHL, while J.Staal was centering E.Staal earlier this year. They could definitely use a guy like Monahan.

I always think we should take the hardest pronounced name. Ever notice how John Smiths ain't playing in the NHL?

An unusual combination, but getting there

Jack Johnson. Tim Thomas.

Usually the two first name guys are the ones you want to avoid.

there fans voted 57% for Monahan 31% for Nichushkin and 8% for Lindholm 2% for Nurse. just so you know how they voted.

thanks for the participation guys, the Calgary Flames select Elias Lindholm 6th Overall.

I'll be back later on for your other 2 picks.

I just want whoever works the hardest. If its Nikki, then draft him, if its Lindholm Him. (i dont want to reach down to draft).

I think the Flames are all over Monahan if he is available.

Want Monahan over Lindholm. Want Barkov over Monahan.

But like everyone else, would be happy with either of them.

I can't believe Rychel got a vote, he will probably be available in the 20s

I think he may go 15-18 which would be out of our range. Still a ridiculous pick, but at least he will probably be gone by the time our 2nd pick comes around.

Seeing as I live in Quebec and frequent a ton of Q games I know more than your avaerage Joe about this player. If Mantha could find a way to be a bit more consistent I swear he would have well over 100 points in the season. He will go in the top ten, and if he doesnt its a huge miss. This kid is exactly the type of player you want on your team, he has size, he can fight, he can hit, scores goals, and has some really soft hands. I do agree that at 6 there may be solely Elias that I rank above him but seriously guys he is a gem. I am seriously pulling for the Flames to pick this guy, He would give us a solid one-two punch at LW with Bartschi and Mantha for many years to come. I also think that his game would fit perfect alongside Jankowski`s as they both have similar styles in the Offensive zone.

I personally think Carolina would be much better off taking Nichushkin or Nurse, than another center, so I guess I'm with you on this one.

If we grab Rychel with our pick from the Blues, I'll be ecstatic! That would be brilliant!! But at 6, I wouldn't even consider him.
