It's hardly bad out there, people need to relax. As mentioned, it's more like rain than anything. The lawns need it.

Pretty much a blizzard out there right now on the North end.

Drive safely. Visibility is pretty limited.

Sigh. At least it'll be back up to 20 by the weekend hopefully. But is it ever blowing out there... wow.

THE SKY IS BLUE...... About damn time we can see it.
I was tired of living in the world that houses the Matrix machines.

Here in Slave Lake, 3 days of decent spring weather (there was snow as recently as last week, and still snow in my backyard as I type this) and I get this in my email...

Quote:
Hot and dry weather has caused the wildfire hazard to climb to HIGH in the Slave Lake Area. This afternoon, areas south of Lesser Slave Lake will see vey strong and gusty winds. Use extreme caution around areas of dead grass. The dead grass will ignite easily and the winds will cause the fire to spread very quickly.
Seriously, is 8 months of constant precipitation not enough?

I drank all of my beer on the weekend. I'm an idiot. I suppose I could pick some up on the way home.

You'd think a guy named Beerfish would never run out of beer. Or fish.

We're not just the hottest spot in Canada we're also one of the hottest spots in North America today (I'm assuming that some smaller towns/cities in the US might be hotter).

It's too hot today, and the closer we are to "summer" without spring, the better, because seasonal allergies SUCK. Longer winter for no allergies > short winter with 2 months of nonstop allergies.
