I seriously doubt anyone wouldn't want to see Habs/Bruins Habs/Leafs at any network, the ratings would be off the charts.

I guess yeah it was a great deal. But for tonight's game or the whole series for that matter, I would have prefer Cole in the lineup than Ryder.

And Prust too.

I'd be down too knowing my number one goaltender and warrior both went down in the same game.

I mean, the tying goal was just brutal but not just because it was kicked in, but first the faceoffs was moved to the wrong side, and as they did all series long, the linesman just wait for 5 hours to drop the puck until they chase somebody which happened to DD on that play.

And in the last couple minutes down to the tying goal, the linesmen called icing on plays that really had no business being stopped. It was ridiculous.

I mean, the linesmen and refs have been bad all series, and not just ours. It's been like that in many other series. But tonight was really something else. I never assumed refs were actually out trying to help a team score, never in my life, no matter how much I disagreed with the officiating, but tonight I don't see how you can think the refs were impartial. Really, I can't.

Cole would not have influenced the refs. Cole may have been more effective than Ryder, though.

I guess the Leafs might as well get their golf clubs out now.

I'm known here as a Price hater but he did not fake that injury.

Habs got screwed... We'll have to find something else to do for 3 months now. Because really games against the Sens are so hard to win because of their good goalie and defensive pkay I really don't think we can win 3 in a row.

Only good thing is my girlfriend will stop complaining about my beard.
Ultimately... The league and the refs will be the reasons why we are eliminated.

I'm personally going for the Blues or Islanders. They've both been waiting a long time. (30 years since last Cup for the Isles, none in 46 years for the Blues)

Habs have 0 to lose. this Sens team has been outplayed by us for 3 of 4 games. we're missing 1/3 of our lineup and starting goalie. Just leaving it all on the ice Thursday, let fans help carry the momentum. maybe some of the guys get back saturday

Well, Cole was very good at drawing penalties by being a threat to skate away and thus force guys to clutch and grab him, and with the interference non-calls against the Sens this season, that element wouldn't have borne much fruit. But him vs. this Ryder, I think he would be better if we compare in a vaccum. But I wonder if Cole really just wanted out of here and thus might not have been that good in his own right.

All I have left to cheer for is any West team and Islanders or Caps.

It happened to Halpern today as well at the beginning of the third period I believe. Turris was taping the buttend of Halpern's stick for about 15sec while Halpern was trying to set up. Halpern gives a little slash to Turris, end result: Halpern chased.
Even the ref had to come in to warn Turris to stop his dumb crap, but yet was let to take the FOs, which he won. Possession Ottawa.

Hockey referees influence the game so freaking much it's seriously nuts. There are too many of them taking bad decisions. They need people to speak up and address this issue, it's just awful.
