I just watched the third period again to take another look at the Morrow "hit".

Screw a penalty. He needs to be suspended for the rest of the playoffs for intent to injure. That was one of the most disgusting things I've ever seen in a hockey game. AND THE REF WAS RIGHT THERE LOOKING AT IT.

Yahoo Sports Already has Voukon Playing against us on Thursday.

http://sports.yahoo.com/nhl/players/1541

I know he shut us down this season and has dominated us in the past but I dont really consider those games of the past cause that was a weak Islander team. The shut out we beat ourselves with our piss poor offense.

Tons of pressure will be on him on Thursday from the fans and media plus he hasnt played since April 22nd. So we need to come out swinging hard and fast and keep playing the way we have been playing. You know they will be chanting Nabby in Pittsburgh (wont lie that crowd is not that intimating at all)

Yep, I have to watch more games. I've watched thousands of games and have never seen that happen without punishment.

Looks like the boys have been muzzled for the playoffs

No tweets from any of the players since the playoffs started. Obviously its not a big deal, but I like a good tweet from Martin or grabs after a huge win. It keeps me pumped up. I guess the coaching staff didn't want potential bulletin board material from the guys via twitter.

I'm sick of hearing James Duthie on TSN overemphasize that "The Islanders!" are tied up with the Pens, like it's absolutely most crazy thing ever to happen in hockey.

What a game. This team of misfit toys is playing like a well oiled machine. They certainly show their youth, but they do not back down and are damn resilient.

We are the NHL's version of Major League. Screw Jobu, we'll do it ourselves!

Is there a link or video of this anywhere?

I thought it was brutal when I saw it happen and was really pissed, would love another look at it.

Red Wing fan here. If you guys eliminate the Penguins, I'll buy a jersey of your choice of any NYI player. I didn't expect this to be so close and your team has a ton of fight and it's fun to watch. And **** the Pens, amirite?

Just got home from game 4...holy crap, as a Psu alumn, that place was almost as loud as Beaver Stadium vs Notre Dame...it was just pure insanity, just great! I've never felt chills at an Isles game before.

Be honest here, no one expected this. Some may say they did, but 2-2 through 4 against an all star team is pretty amazing.

I want them to beat the Pens because it would turn the hockey world inside out.

I didn't see the play, but I get Center Ice and watch about 200 games a year and what worries me is that Morrow has a pretty bad temper as does Cooke and both are capable of very dirty plays. I'm hoping that there's no Dale Hunter, Darcy Tucker, Tiger Williams or Dan Maloney moments this year.

A buddy of mine asked if Crosby is/was seriously injured tonight when he was hit with the puck. Before I could answer this is what my other friend said.

"Yes, at the time he got hit he was out for the rest of the playoffs, but when he realized the Islanders could not be penalized on the play he made a miraculous recovery."

How has Nabakov been? His stats look terrible, and the little I have watched of him has left me with a very poor impression.

His angles are WAY off and he is leaving an extra 6" of open net on his glove side everytime. He looks nervous and is over compensating. I would feel 100% more confident in him if he threw back a shot or two of vodka before the game, seriously.
