There is now way Paponi is only making 75k. Saputo must be paying him under the table.

Paponi, Romero and Rodriguez are all on loan. Their teams could be paying a portion of their salary. In fact, I'm pretty sure Bologna are paying a portion of Paponi's salary because it was reported that Paponi was making in the 200k range. Now whether Saputo is paying Bologna under the table that's another story.

Warner 110k ?? Is he like a GA, Rivas 75k? No wonder he wanted to leave.

Overpaid = IAPICHINO, Warner, Arnaud, Nyassi (if not a GA)
Underpaid = Rivas, Bernier, Camara, Mapp (maybe ) oh Brovsky deserves a little more than that for starting every game at least 120 k$

How much is Mapp?

Warner used to make $52k last year. They more than doubled his salary.

There is something I don't understand. This morning, all the sections of Saputo Stadium looked dark blue this morning on admission.com*for the game against RSL, which meant lots of tickets were still available (I would say at least 7000).

Now, there is low availability in the whole stadium (All sections became light blue, not even a 1000 tickets left). I don't understand.

Maybe they're giving away tickets (since it doesn't seem to be selling so well) for the stadium to looked packed on Saturday, since the game will be shown on TVA?

Seriously If Totti want's to play here it would not be hard to move a player or 2 or things like that to bring him here. You do what you have to do to bring him here.

But if we qualify for the CCL and put out all of our depth out the window, we'll be ****ed. We can't rely on Di Vaio, Totti and Nesta to play Wednesday and Sunday every week

Totti wouldn't be worth it in the league. He'd be swarmed all the time and he's unbelievably slow. He won't get away from the physical play of the MLS.

Going with younger players like Felipe, Paponi and Romero is the right move.

Well, getting rid of Nyassi means more opportunities for Blake Smith. It is not a bad thing. Getting rid of him now wouldn't be a good move since Paponi is injured.

Wait, did Rivas have surgery just lately, or is he just recovering from surgery the last few months? I thought he was back training with the team the last couple of weeks...

I like these charts: http://public.tableausoftware.com/vi...splay_count=no

Quick look at how big of a chunk players take of their team's cap space.

With the Paponi injury Agudelo would of been perfect for us. Now that we have a 2 forward system, we need 3,4 good one to assure a rotation and keep the momentum in our favor for 90 min.

I am so happy we have this team in montreal, with the habs season most likely being done soon ( I hope not though), I can pay much more attention to them. Plus going to stade saputo in the summer is a great way to spend a night.

It's gonna be weird not seeing Ferguson on the sidelines. Just as weird as Ruff not behind Sabres bench.

I think Ferguson is bluffing again.

Any word whether Nesta is fit to play tonight?

He's not bluffing. They already announced his successor (David Moyes).

They say here that Nesta should be back against Vancouver next wednesday and Arnaud this saturday against RSL.
