good period, but we finally got the powerplay working last night, and now torts plays none of the guys on it and goes right back to the same old disaster? Inexcusable... Still 23 seconds of 5 on 3, hopefully they finish it better than they started it.

Overall, solidly above average period for the rangers.

These were the NYR I was expecting going into the playoffs. The breakouts are still bad and predictable, but they are faster now so Washington doesn't have time to shut everything down.

Keep piling on the pressure and I just might regain my reg. season optimism.

How is it possible that this team is worse 5 on 3 than 5 on 4?

2-0, most dangerous lead in hockey.

Moore out-Richards in on 5 on 3, and it is a mess again. Brassard? Zuccarello? Riding the pine. Torts is such a moron.

did you watch the powerplay last game? Moore shoots, he loves having the puck, he can rip it and he can hit the net. He also has half a brain as a PP QB and doesnt force passes on guys like richards does

He's been good, his physical presence has been a huge factor thus far, IMO.

It's definitely all those years as a hockey player that gives Richards the experience to know that you must have some sort of a shot to score a goal. This type of knowledge is exclusive to only a few experienced players, man.
