Putting this in here cuz it's kinda OT. Not a superstitious person at all, but my son and I were watching the first period and despite out-playing TOR, the B's were down 2-0. So we said we were going to shut it off (I was DVR-ing) and play some knee hockey. We did that for a bit, and Daniel went upstairs to bed around 8:15pm because he has MCAS tomorrow and we wanted him to get in bed early (he ended up staying up and reading on bed until 9, lol).

I turn the game on, 2-1 Toronto, go do some stuff and turn it on again, and it's tied 2-2. So, I'm like, cool, and I go talk to my wife for a bit, and I come back down cellar and put the game on again and it's 3-2 Boston. So I tell myself, bah stupid superstition, and sit down to watch the game. About 10 seconds later the Laffs tie it up. So I shut the TV off and go to the gym. The game was on one of the TV's, but I can't see it well because I remove my glasses while I workout. Regulation ends and I finish up my workout, get in the car and OT starts. I only live 5 minutes away, so I got home and sat in the driveway listening, and the B's were getting outplayed handily, so I shut it off and decided I would not watch/listen, just check in every few minutes.

I put my stuff away, lock all the doors, shut the lights off, and head downstairs to take a shower. I turn the game on to check the score and I see the B's celebrating Krejci's game-winning hat-trick goal. Now I'm torn. Is this a one game thing, or am I doomed to now have to not watch the rest of the playoffs?

If you loved "Shaun of the Dead", guessing you are also a big fan of "Hot Fuzz", also directed and written by Simon Pegg?

Yessir. It was very funny as well. Run, Fatboy, Run was another one he wrote and starred in that was also very good.

Think I am going to play it by ear? I will start off not watching, but hoping the B's get a big lead in Game 5 and I can dip my toe in the water, so to speak, and watch

I've played it so much here in the office that I've gotten the chorus stuck in everyone's head and they're all super pissed at me for it. I cannot be any happier...

One of the reasons I decided to walk between my office and North Station whenever I possible can. I love the cars where 8,439 people are jammed into the space near the doors, but none of the 9 people between the doors can squeeze in just a little closer to make a small iota of space.

Because it's something you have come to really want. Not making it would be very disappointing, so even though you know you can meet all the requirements, you fear missing one of them and facing that disappointment.

Yes, I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

Yes. As penance you must view this immediately. Take the rest of the day off and get your hands on a copy of this movie pronto...
