By any chance, do you know if the entire games are archived anywhere? I am going to have to miss most or all of the Russia-Finland game tomorrow, so I am wondering if there is somewhere that I could watch the entire game after its over?

Step 1: google "expat shield" and download it.
Step 2: install and connect to it.
Step 3: go to http://www.youtube.com/user/icehockey. Now the full games should be unblocked. If the game you looking for arent in the full games(its btw hd quality) category it will probsbly be available in the watch all games but wont be in hd.

Im a little irritated that the goal, assist and hits highlights apparantly has no consistency. The eenmark norway game was a htting fest but the was no hits hl that day. 60-70% of the days have those hls but the last dont

Thanks very much for your help with this. I really appreciate it. I don't blame you for being irritated about the lack of availability of hits highlights. I'm sure there is plenty of emotion when Denmark and Norway collide on the ice. Once again, I appreciate your help.

He sounds like some English-speaking hockey fan they found by chance in Sweden and converted into an announcer. He at least tries but doesn't sound like an English language career announcer.

In Helsinki however, many games are obviously called by someone who is NOT from an English speaking country, has a thick Nordic accent and whose elocution in English is not good enough to keep up with the pace of a hockey game.
"Oh and the counter attack! Oh, and the score! Yes it's the score! Here is is!"

BTW, there are quite a few people here (including me) who are not North American or even native English speakers and find it awkward.
If it was the Division III in Greece or something, I'd cut them some slack, but for the top division with a multi million budget...
Last year, one of the announcers referred to a goal scored against Sweden (Fasth) as "the shot beats Pekka Rinne". (Aside from not being Swedish, the Predators were still in the playoffs at the time). I see they haven't improved.
