Hey guys, it's time for an auto-pick (how many of those in the last 10 picks???)

Before picking the Saint-Louis Blues would like to congratulate the Montréal Canadiens on winning the 2013 Stanley Cup. They were a fierce opponent in the Final.

I would also like to thank the New Jersey Devils organization for hosting the draft, this is a perfect place to stay concentrated on the job to be done rather than go out and have fun.

With no further babbling here comes our Director of Scouting with the pick.

With the 47th pick in the 2013 draft, the are proud to select from the United States National development team, Mike McCarron.

James Duthie: So Doug, what are your thoughts on the kid, or shall I say the mankid that you drafted in the 2nd round?

Doug Armstrong: He's a Power Forward in the making. He's really strong on the puck and isn't afraid to cut to the net with his shoulder first. I think he could end up as a top6 forward. He has the skating to become just that and with his physical attributes, he'll be a nightmare for years to come to the Defencemen facing him.

Next GM will be PM'd

Nice pick ! I know Edmonton has a lot of smallish offensive forwards, but I would have taken him late in the 2nd round at #58. It's a steal, congratulation.

With the 49th pick....the San Jose Sharks are proud to select...Jonathan-Ismail Diaby!
Very pleased Diaby is still on the board. A 6-5 shut-down defenceman who skates well, defends well and can scrap. Reminds me of Elemin only a better fighter. Three years from now he's going to be really hard to play against, possible future team captain.

I was taking him at 53 if he was available

And Mats86, you know you have 2 straight picks right?

Yeah I know, but we'll never be done if everyone took his 12 hours. There are already enough participants who don't give a **** about this mock, that we don't need those who do to waste time too.

I mean, if you're there, it's alright to take a few moments, but at some point...

With the 50th pick...The San Jose Sharks are proud to select.....Yan-Pavel Laplante LW of PEI Rocket.

Laplante missed most of his draft year with injury we feel he would have been close to point a game otherwise. Offensive enough to score 50 points in NHL someday along with being solid, strong along the boards. Hard-working Laplante goes flat out every shift, can play him at any forward position

I'll say it again. I really hope the Habs get him. Sounds like a gamer.

If I ever drafted I'd try to pick guys who could be something special. Even a shot in the dark as draft gets into later rounds. The prospect projected to be average I can get those in lesser trades or second tier free agents. I look for skill first, next is heart/work ethic, etc..., followed by size.

Washington Capitals had to read the board over, and checked it again, before making their pick. With the 51st pick, the capitals select:

Chris Bigras

The Capitals believe his intelligence on the ice, and especially in his own end, will translate extremely well in the nhl. He needs to improve on his strength and speed, however. He is developing into a very solid player with an excellent first pass and should continue to grow as he adjusts to the pro game.

my image isn't working?

and the sens score...brutal
