With our 3rd pick, 89th overall, in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft, we are proud to select from the Medicine Hat Tigers, defenseman Spenser Jensen.

Jensen is a right handed defenseman with a high hockey IQ when it comes to defensive positioning. He is tall, listed at 6'3, but still needs to add more muscle to his frame, and is a strong skater that allows him to neutralize oncoming forwards. He has the potential to be a future reliable partner for one of our young offensive defensemen like (earlier pick) Eric Roy and last years first pick Hampus Lindholm. We believe the future of our defense is very bright.

LOL. What's funny though, is that for my first pick I was debating between Burakowsky and Hartman for my pick, and you took him before I could. I think Burakowsky is a boom or bust prospect with the higher potential ceiling but I believe Hartman will be a player in some role. For my 2nd pick I PMed Habsfan18 my list with Eric Roy one and John Hayden two, and then you took him later in the round. So if the Habs actually got your picks I wouldn't complain.

I'm willing to bet it's one of the top 4 guys I considered before taking Olofsson.

No it won't. I'm sure nobody has this guy that high. I have to be consequent, and kept hyping the guy despite his injury so...

The Pittsburgh Penguins would like to select, with the 90th pick, Quebec Remparts' Kurt Etchegary.

Feel that his kid is really talented on all zones, strong on his feet, and anybody who takes Samuel Morin for a fight is courageous enough...or crazy enough to go as high as he just did.

Next GM PM'ed.

He was on my list WS, and I debated on picking him before I settled on Elie. Thought it was a little too early for him when I was up, but he could definitely turn out to be a really good pick.

In reality, I see him as at best a 4th rounder. Will be surprised if he's chosen before. I just liked him too much to wait till my next pick. I debated with 2 other players that will surely leave in the next 5 picks.

Can literally get the puck on and off his stick in an instant, with power and accuracy, no matter what the puck is doing; wobbling, bouncing, whatever. I'm actually going to be surprised if he's not a 1st rounder this year. Dead serious. He won't turn 18 until mid-summer, and he already knows he's starting next season back on the Lulea top club.

Totally committed to getting better as a player, but already comfortable and productive among professional men. The jump he made in the rankings between mid-season (not ranked) and now (28th among Europeans) is representative of the rise he's on, and I think as early as this time next year he'll be considered one of the top 30 prospects to come out of this draft.

Here's a little taste of your excellent pick:
Thanks. With the 54th overall pick I was really contemplating picking him, but I ultimately decided on Arnesson. So needless to say, I was shocked when I saw he was still available. Cehlarik is just such a fun player to watch and I really think that he's going to be a steal for whatever team gets him. I really liked him in the playoffs against Collberg's Frolunda. He did a lot with very little and seemed to get at least two good scoring chances a game.

Jets were having a great draft: Zykov in the first is a great fit for them and Tambellini and Pesce were steals late in the second.

Diaby and Geersten are tough customers, maybe a little early, but solid picks.

We need to get this moving again. Homarid may be busy, so we can give him until 3.

Time is up. I don't have time, as I have to head out soon, but if anyone wants to use Natey's auto pick idea, feel free.

And if nobody feels like it, just go ahead and pick for Winnipeg as long as you don't select in the next 10 picks.

Let's get this moving guys.

Ah screw it, I'll just make the pick for Winnipeg since I don't pick within the next 10. Need to get things moving and I don't have the time to look at the CSB list and do an auto pick.

Winnipeg selects Tyler Motte missed pick

As per PM's:

Florida selects Philippe Desrosiers

Colorado selects Mitch Wheaton

Will PM next GM..
