Price was part of the problem this series.

Budaj was brutal also, not sure what happened to him, 3 bad goals in a bit more than 60 minutes.

The series was largely decided in nets. Anderson was great and stole at least 2 if not 3 games. Other than game 2 our goaltending gave up 1-2 bad goals every game.

There's no love lost here. And we can always come together through our hatred of the Leafs.

Good series, guys. See you next year.

The thing is that we weren't supposed to make the playoffs at all. The team is still building. I'm OK with that.

An early exit might actually benefit the Habs for next year since they are so banged up.

Great season minus the final stretch and playoffs.

If this was a full season the team probably would've found their groove by the time the playoffs started.

Also, Diaz just hasn't been the same since his concussion. Horrible series for him.

Time for MB to show what he is made of and start to make the tough decisions and start dumping the dead weight wereing the CH. Start from the net out.A good regular season is still a failure. You never play to say well we had a good regular season that is awesome even though we blew donkeys in the POs. NEVER EVER SETTLE for this garbage.

We were the better team
Sens had better goaltending
Series over
20 long years since a cup... 1993... I would have partied harder if I had known.
An entire generation of Hab fans that have never known the sweet sweet sound of "Montreal Canadiens Stanley Cup Champions"
I honestly feel bad for you...keep the faith!

Thank you to the Habs for an exciting season filled with so many wins.......that success is what makes losing in the playoffs all that much harder. The team overachieved and I appreciate the effort. Time to look to towards the draft and free agency with excitement.

That said.....I see very few players I am excited about on the free agent market. I like some of the young guys we have though.

Ryder this off-season. He's a UFA. Habs should move one of Markov or Diaz this off-season. Both are UFAs in 2014 and we can't sign both. So is Emelin, and Subban is RFA.

I don't want to go into next season with Gorges and Tinordi as our only d-men signed after next year.

The good news about all the expiring contracts on D is it allows MB to quickly rebuild the D, which we need to do.

Very happy with our season overall.. the younger generation of players is a huge +

I just don't like the way our coach handles losses.

Diaz is great as a 5-6, I prefer him over Bouillon and Tinordi(only cuz of his lack of experience)

The DD extension is something I am still confused about.

Resign ryder if its a one year deal, would be good for our depth and possible trading asset at the deadline.

Anderson had to be perfect for the Sens to win, and he was almost there.

And now we have a proper rivalry. Same time next year?

Budaj picked the wrong night to turn into Andre Racicot.

Price has done nothing in his career in playoffs, he is very overrated as we overrate all our goalies historically.

Get Gally and Eller in top 2 center spots, get rid of the gutless midgets, try to get some size on defence ( not Tinordi, NHL qualified size please ), and build around a good young core of Pacs, Subban, Gally, Brendan, Eller, and hopefully Price.

It is a foundation alot of teams would really like.

Collberg top 6 forward in 2-3 years also IMO.

To me our 3 picks in top 40 this year are really important.

I think a full season would have let us find our groove back. I have no idea what happened after we clinched, MT showed his weakness.
