Only on our own local sports station would they be saying this series was only won because of the Habs' lack of decent goaltending.

Go back to TO Simpson,

What a yeoman's effort.

Reminded me a bit of the Pens series in 2007 where we had contributions from everyone at key times.

But the biggest comparison has to be with the old Sens-Leafs series where we were outworked, pushed to the perimeter, forced to deal with good goaltending and physicality.

As a Leafs fan, I will fully admit to hating your team with a passion, but I have a ton of respect for your boys and your season. Phenomenal story, Anderson and MacLean are your MVPs. Seeing as how the Habs are eliminated and you guys are now the team I hate most remaining in the playoffs, I will cheer against you the rest of the way, but I will offer a sincere good luck going forward. Your team is all heart deserves to go deep this year.

That was fun to read though

On the flip-side I love the tears of Habs fans, so I can watch them cry all offseason.

From one annoying fan base to another (I'm assuming Pens get through).

Cheers mate.

That last game against Boston was a thriller. I hate to admit it, but there is something about Toronto in the playoffs.

(as long as they're not beating my team)

I hope we can write another chapter in the Battle of Ontario in the playoffs in the coming years. I think both of our teams have a bright future and will be strongly competitive for years to come. Again, many congrats on your season and your series win. You guys fully deserve it and I'll admit, for as much as I hate your team, it is a bit hard to root against them this year. Love teams with this much character. Cheers.

Been a while man, been a while. Love seeing this team playing hockey the right way. Pens will be in tough against a rested squad. Lets keep beating em in the alley man.

The fashion in which we won this series is a rare and welcome change for this franchise.

The jugular. We took it. *tear*
