Really looks like Eller came back from the dead (only normal after such an injury to the face).

Very happy he's fine and am very happy he will have more time to heal properly (no rushing...that's the only good part about lsong to Ottawa...Eller can heal properly without rushing...his future is very important to our Habs).

Looking forward to Eller for next year.

Next year:
Eller takes DD's spot.
We give Eller the same treatment DD had.
(surroounding him with big wingers...or just balance out the line...don't know what to do with DD? offensive 3rd line??).

I gave a few girls groin injuries

Teaching them ice skating, for I'm an awful instructor.

We are going to be without Emelin come the start of the next season. He still has not gone under the knife for his knee problems. Minimum rehab is 6 months or more after he has the surgery.

Gionta missed the last 40 games of the season and just about wasn't ready for the next season the last time he injured his bicep. Depending on the nerve damage and severity of it, there's a strong possibility he isn't back until late next year. Chance of retirement as well.

Well some might get their wish of a replacement at least....or it's Leblanc time.

Don't know why Plekanec was getting flack again. His role in the playoffs is to play solid defensively, and he did that. People just look at stat sheets and complain.

Blame idiots like Marinaro and Tieman who were railing against pleks last night after the game. Pleks was one of our most consistent forwards the entire series.

I blame the media for most of the dumb crap fans say. They like to pick a player and rag on him and the sheep in Montreal regurgitate it.

He had a bad first game, after that he was the only forward to consistently show up besides Bourque and Galchenyuk.

I don't know how anyone who watched the last two games could say he was bad. He was an idiot on the 3rd goal (but the idea that Turris could be that overpowered by Plekanec is laughable), but even Bob Cole was able to notice how much he tried to create.

But the likes of Marinaro don't care about facts.

Marinaro said anyone who thought we had a chance to win was "delusional".

This fat **** who never played team sports or knows what it means to win and how it feels to lose should go up to the Habs and tell them they were delusional to think they had a chance last night. I'd like to see how fast he'd buckle and bend then.

I wish I got paid to be an incomparable fool on the radio. Life must be good for him.

Apparently Plekanec isn't a playoff performer unless he has both a positive +/- (in a losing series!) and is over a point per game, since only little girls don't singlehandedly carry the offense while shutting down the opposition.

Plekanec is one of the most, if not the most under-appreciated player on our team. We works his ass off every single game and is constantly tasked with shutting the opponent's best line/players. People don't realize how important he is to our team.

Its been like that for years, I can't understand it. He is one of the best two way C in the league and should get nominated for the Selke every year.

I'd like to take this opportunity to quote myself because I fully agree with every single character in your post.

He's forever underrated and underappreciated. Defense, faceoffs, offense, PK, PP...guy is an all-situations player. He's Jason Pominville and Patrice Bergeron without the flash and slightly inferior production. He's the glue that holds our top-6 together. I'd even go as far as saying that if you remove him from the combination, we're not even a playoff team, let alone a 2-seed.
Some would be happy if we unloaded Plekanec for Antropov because he has, gasp, SIZE!

Try telling the player this and making them accept it...

Second most under-appreciated after Markov.
