I hope frattin can get the game winner with Phanuef making a big play. Then next game Kadri has a good game and carries the team to the win. And for game 7 all Kessel and Lupul with Kessel getting the winner. One can dream. I just hope we can bring it back to Toronto. If that happens I am ecstatic. If they win the series some how. It would be like winning the cup to me, I'd go crazy. My moms boyfriend is a Bruins fan, Leafs are his second team but that would be nice to have on him.

Please don't conflate the term "can" with "distinct possibility" . . . say, anything over around 20% chance.

In terms of odds, it's probably well below a 10% chance right now, surely around 5% or lower . . . that the Leafs could come back. Still, that still technically means they can - and, I think they certainly could do it. It would be the comeback of the decade though, in terms of who we are identity-wise, and who the Bruins are.

I say it's 50-50 that we can squeeze one out in Boston . . . but after that, I'd say our odds fall below that and we'd truly have to have some huge ndividual efforts from either our top scorers or Reimer, or we'd have to play a very close to perfect game.

As a true blue Leaf fan, I continue to cheer and hope as long as there is a 0.01% chance of success.

Go Leafs Go!

Don't ask this question to the contingent of this fanbase that constantly propose cockamamie trades involving other teams star players for our scraps, and then inserts them into their dumb little revised line-up tree afterwards awaiting approval from everyone.

Eg: Ovechkin Stamkos Kessel
Lupul Kadri Neal

"Duhhh.. how do youz guyz like my Top 6 so farrr?...derp."

Bruins have looked worse and worse as the series drags on, but they're getting excellent goaltending and lucky bounces.

So long as Seguin continues to be held in check, and if the Grabovski line can get results for their hard work, then the Leafs have excellent chances.

The Leafs are really laying the hurt on the Bruins. Guys are nursing injuries and it's only further deflating what the Bruins can put out. But they're former champs for a reason...

I heard them say on TSN that teams who are down 3-1 have an 8.7% chance of coming back to win the series.

imo the chances of the leafs winning each game are 50-50 so you do the math (17% i think)..still a slight chance but not looking too good

Well 8.7 % is >>> 0.0% for all the years Leafs had missed the playoffs the past 9 years.

So some chance is >> no chance so I'll take it.

Beggars can't be choosers !!

Bit of a loaded poll...can they? Yeah, why not, it's happened before. Will they? Probably not, but that doesn't mean you just give up and say it's over now, pack it up and go home...

What a surprise

Are you predicting a shut out as well or will the lowly Leafs manage a goal?

I think a shut-out is a reasonable prediction because I believe Boston will bring a shutdown kinda game. Why is it a surprise. Because I don't let stupid bias and homerism cloud my vision?

Do I want the Leafs to win. Of course I do. That's not the same thing as do I THINK the Leafs will win. Grow up.

It wasn't a surprise. It was sarcasm, hence the icon.

I agree with the homerism not clouding your judgement, not so sure about the stupid bias. Anyway, enjoy the game, at least you claim you want them to win.

Doubt it. That said I would love to see the series pushed to a game 7...Toronto really desearves a win at home after so many years out of the playoffs.

I hate this thread. Take it one game at a time, we no longer have to win 3 straight. We force a game 7, anything can happen.

It's definitely an uphill battle, but very doable. They've largely outplayed the Bruins this series, and it should really be 3-2 in Toronto's favour, or even over. Regardless, Boston is very opportunistic. As long as we continue to limit their chances, the Bruins are very beatable in two straight.

The feeling I had yesterday was if we could win today(which we now have) then we're the favorite for games 6 and if it happens game 7.

We're at home next, with momentum and playing well(we've outplayed then in games 2-5 imo).

Then if we win that, then the Bruins are suddenly in their first elimination game, and we've already played 2, we've got momentum, it's back to back so their older players possibly more tired while our team is younger.

I didn't expect we'd win all 3 but if we won today I like our chances that much better.

I refuse to give up hope until we are dead and I believe in this team.
