Make sure he has fun and he will be great for you guys. Winning and team spirit should do the trick.

He did, but that also means Pyatt, Ash or Zuccs has to come out of the lineup since Clowe is likely back in (Yeah Clowe can play C, but ne's not great there).

He definitely looks like he's having fun. Also having some Prospal level celebrations.

He made a very good point in his interview last game. This team wasnt relaxed and having fun the first two games. When youre relaxed you realize that you have more time than you think and take that extra space on the ice to make plays.

The entire team aside from maybe Asham looked very jittery and nervous in Game 1 and that should be expected considering how much the roster turnover has been and how some of our top players came over from Columbus (Nash, Brassard, Moore) or haven't been individually successful in the playoffs before (Stepan, Hagelin, Callahan.) Didn't see enough of game 2 to make a judgement.

Game 3 looked a lot better. There were still times when we looked jittery, but it was much better. Hopefully Clowe is one of those clowns (i mean this in a good way) in the locker room that has a calming presence on a team. It could really help if he's back for game 4....

Back on topic, Brassard is awesome. Has done nothing but come up big in big games, even though he's not really expected to. Him and Moore should run the PP with Stepan on the other side.

If I was watching Brassard for the first time and not familliar with his career to date, I would swear he was playing like a young top 6 draft pick and developing into a great player. This is what was expcted from him when he was first drafted. God, such soft hands. Somewhat coincidently, he reminds me of a young Adam Oates.

PPG player since his arrival to NYR. Such skill. Him and Zucc on the PP could be gold if Torts decide to give them and not slow ass Richard&co first 1 1/2 min of every ****in PP. For once he let "2nd" unit start and whoopaaa, goal! Coincidence? Nop. Njet. Nej. Not. No.

He has been playing up to his potential since his arrival. I've always liked him a lot, and I am extremely happy to see him get his **** together here in NY. His presence along with Stepan's ascension to a top line role will make Richards' buyout an easy pill to swallow.

Gotta hand it to Sather, he pulled another rabbit out of his hat trading Gabby (groin issues have returned [brought on because of his bad labrums in his hips] and shoulder injury has impacted his shot tremendously) for young improving pieces in Brass, Moore, and Dorsett. That is a top-6 forward, a potential top pairing d-man, and a third line energy player for an injury riddled fading superstar.

And this is why MANY teams wanted to get their hands on him for years. People thought he was just a throw-in 3rd liner. Teams had been asking Columbus about Brassard for at least 3 years hoping to get him out of there.

He was great yet again. He has an uncanny ability to slow down the game and make the right play.

It cannot be understated how difficult that pass he made to Girardi was. Absolute thing of Beauty.

Cross-ice saucer, through two defenders, on the back hand, tape-to-tape? No problemo.
