Are people still going make an argument for how it is good to give the Capitals point men 15 fee of freedom?

This is what happens when you don't shoot the puck. Nash had at least two opportunities in overtime and he does his spin-o-rama while losing the puck.

With that said... I feel horrible for Lundqvist.

Hank made some great saves in OT, but he was giving up juicy rebounds. It was bound to happen. That's on him.

badly outplayed, we could barely keep the puck in their zone while they seemed like they were on the PP most of the time they were in our zone

Did anyone actually think we were going to win?

We were a disaster. Really developing a strong distaste for Nash.

Torts was WAY to conservative this game. Oh well, it doesn't help that Nash is obviously hurt and can't stay on the puck. Nor can Torts find consistent line mates for him.

I've said this a million times.

boyle is not good defensively. he's not aggressive enough. He's the reason for the 5-5 powerplays

This team will never win as log as Torts is here. unfortunetly he will be here as long as he wants because dolan and sather are morons. Henrik deserves better and even kids like kreider and fast should go to other teams that will use them properly

Yeah, especially when the Rangers were bringing it on offense with our 1 goal.

That's what happens when you play 20 minutes of hockey, and let the other team have their way for the next 40 minutes. Lundqvist bails them out again, and they still can't come up with a goal in overtime. This team needs to wake the **** up ad start showing a full game of effort. Not 20 minutes of acceptable play, then 40 minutes of pure, effortless, sloppy, ********.
