The wife and I went to Game 7 last year at Rexall with our son. She's asking for another ticket so she can go again. Isn't she great.

The benefits of living away from home . Take your mom or wife or family to the game. If they play like they did today everyone will enjoy it.

Oh, I agree.

Despite my best efforts, I live at home.

My Dad and I really want to go, but we're having people over for a Mothers Day BBQ and we'd both feel ****** running off for a hockey game.

Then the best advice is crank the radio and cheer them on out loud.

Change it to a Mother's Day breakfast and have it over by 2 pm to make the game

Unfortunately, they have good reason.

Best hockey this city has seen in 2 years has been under its nose. And even before the OKs developed into a winner, their effort and commitment far exceeded that of the Oilers. Hugely under-appreciated.

At minimum, it should be a loud crowd if not a sold out one. I learned tonight while watching the Shaw broadcast that Portland closes its upper seats off and tops the crowd at 11K. But it's bedlam.

Even if it's not sold out, the crowd should be crazy. The boys will need the support.

I wouldn't bet on that.

Any hockey fan who isn't at tomorrow's game is an...well, missing out on a great opportunity to see a great game. Go, Oil Kings.

Don't bet on 16 000. IMHO 10 500 is a realistic expectation.

What an awesome hockey game. One of the best I have watched in my life. LB was a rock and St Croix was unbelievable. Just an outstanding game from both teams and I am super glad that we get to watch another one.

I'll be there but it's been a challenge finding someone else to go at 4 pm on Mother's Day. I did it however and I hope at the very least 10000 others do as well.

Yep, they're awesome.

Just a heads up though, this most recent one is by far the most comprehensive. The others aren't as long nor as good.

Hopefully we're in for another barnburner tomorrow evening at Rexall.

How'd you type that out with your fingers crossed?

Meanwhile, Sun column suggests some 8K tickets sold as of yesterday afternoon. HUGE walkup crowd? Cross fingers for that too.

On pace for a crowd similar to Gms 3 & 4. Let's go #yeg! Championship hockey in your backyard. Let's push it to 10K. #noisefortheboys

I may have 1-2 extra tickets. Far from certain, but if interested PM me you first name and cell number. I'll contact IF they are available. About a 1 in 3 chance. No cost.

Awful Gernat.

These announcers are garbage. Not even trying to hide that they are cheering for Portland.

I love how we have a 4 minute powerplay and we give up 2 goals.
