Jon Snow is a character in Game of Thrones played by the actor Kit Harrington (guy in the Leafs jersey). Pretty great show if you're in to the whole medieval-but-other-cool-stuff type of show.

I expecting a win but at any rate am so glad they did not fold like the Habs did. That was a sorry moment for that franchise which I have always admired.

If I don't get the Father/Husband/Son of the Year Award for giving up going to this game to take my Wife, kids and Mother out for dinner there is something wrong.

If that isn't bad enough, when they win the Series I have a business trip(which I'll miss our Anniversary for) the following weekend which would coincide with Games 3 & 4 of the Semi's.

No matter what happens, at least the Leafs lasted longer than the Canorcas and Smurfs.

It was a joke; directed at the hatred of CBC. Keep up, champ.

We're glad you discovered yahoo answers though.

Or a recent Stanley Cup winner plays really hard when they're down.

Give the opposition some credit.

Sure you can't just say "Look. Mother's Day is EVERY YEAR. This is the first time the Leafs have made the playoffs in NINE years. Besides, Mother's Day was originally created to remember the mothers that had passed away. You all look alive and well!"

I kid.

Up to him. He dictates where he signs, or whether he even plays in the NHL at all.

Normally I could work it out but the kicker is the following weekend I have to go to NC(Saturday to Tuesday) to play in a Clients Golf tournament. I will miss our 10th Anniversary and leave her with the kids for the long weekend.

I go all the time, so saying I'll miss a game won't fly.

I'm going to play the Martyr card for a while, see what that gets me.

This is shaping up to be another nail biter and I wonder which team is feeling the most pressure.

I think in last nights game, Boston felt the heat and had the jitters but coming back to the ACC, it may be the Leafs that will be making the nervous mistakes but if Boston loses, they will be under the gun and it could really affect their play in-game 6.

I'm sure the Bruins will want to end it tonight but if the Leafs can play the steady game, like they had last night, they will have a good chance to win it and anything could happen, in the 7th and deciding game.

Talk about a lot on the line and you couldn't ask for more emotionally charged game, I just hope Carlyle, can keep a Lid on stupid penalties and we can take it back to Boston.

Go Leafs Go!

Almost like clockwork. It's starting to really piss me off; as it's obviously at times where as a fan; you are anxious to see the next play and how the team will set up.... BAM! Another commercial.

Do they also need a commercial every second faceoff?

Damn CBC.
There are 3 commercial breaks during a game, the 14:00 minute mark, the 9:00 minute mark, and the 5:00 minute mark. It's just a coincidence that whenever it's time for a commercial we're in the offensive zone.

I called the Leafs in 7, so obviously I believe there will be a game 7.

More of the same, shut down the Krejci line. Moving Mcclement to where JVR was, was a little but subtle move that made a difference last night.

Krejci was eating up Grabo, so at least Mcclement was able to stop the bleeding.

Kadri played his best game of the series last night back in a top 6 role for the 1st 2 periods of last game, he had chances, was more noticeable, he almost scored with a great backhand that Rask stopped. He may be due to break out.

Bozak had his best game last night also, maybe the injury is healing, but not only because he delivered results(haters be damned) but he made many smart defensive plays, and won face-offs when they were key ones.

As I said before the series began, the longer this series goes, the better for us. The investments in hits may be taking their toll on the Bruins. I thought they blew their fuel reserves in the 3rd last night.

This may be a case of Ali vs Forman. We are younger, and we should have better legs than the Bruins heading into game 6 and maybe 7.

Bumbed by the schedule makers here. Why have this game on Mother's Day. Not really going to get to enjoy the game with all the company that will be here including other people's kids.

Because Mother's Day isn't an actual holiday (as in government holiday) but just a 'Hallmark holiday'.

Trade Liles. Acquire two defenseman that can SKATE and defend. Fraser is the 7th D and say bye bye to Holzer, Kostka, ROB etc.

Let's hope Morgan Rielly can make the team next year.

This series proves that we should not be trading Gardiner for Couturier. When Couturier is shutting down Malkin, he's giving up 7-8 points head to head against him

here are my defence pairings next season, assuming reilly makes the team

gunnerson-phaneuf
gardiner-Franson\
Reilly-Defensive dman signing with decent mobility

1st PP
phaneuf-franson

2nd PP
Gardiner-reilly

1st PK

Phaneuf-gunnerson

2nd PK
UFA dman-franson

Not too sure about RHD and LHD
but these are the dman Id like to see next season

but I expect guys like holzer, ranger, blacker and reilly to fight for a spot

maybe instead of UFA, we can put ranger in that spot

than I believe this defence can be really good

Need some unsung heroes to step up like Bozak and Mac did, haters be damned for both.

Kule, Kadri, and Grabo?

Boy I wish Grabo can produce something Sunday, as I said my Love for the Leafs, outweighs a little ribbing I would take if Grabo scored, he may be due. It's been 10-15 games since his last goal.

Yeah Grabo prove me wrong. Nothing more I would like than for him to actually help us this year.

Bozak did to his naysayers.
