I think we're all quite attached to Plekanec here. He's the type of guy you win with, we're just not at that level yet. We could really use Stewart's size, net presence and potential after-the-whistle effects, even if he's not that physical or well rounded. He's quite young as well.

Fair value? Is Philly actually rebuilding or still trying to win now? Too out of left field?

Couturier and Eller can log the defensive minutes as well as grow with the core, Coburn and Grossman add defence and size to our top-4 D. Plekanec is an upgrade on Schenn and Couturier and the perfect #2C behind Giroux, Diaz fills their PMD needs at a good cap hit and heading into his prime years.

I think Montreal needs to add another young player. Ideas?
Go away. This is a horrible trade for us.

I wouldn't mind Halpern back.

I figure T-Kabs is as good as gone, but I'm finding it increasingly difficult to choose between him and Markov. That's my crazy opinion, and one that I doubt is shared by anyone else.

Other than your typical Stamkos, Crosby, Malkin etc. I don't think there's a one for one trade I'd support. On the big board they were talking about 7th overall + Yakupov/Eberle/Hall/RNH.

HABS need a couple of big forwards to dish it out - get the puck - stand in front of the net etc. when needed - gotta make this change - the Kids are Keepers though .

I would like him back as a depth forward. He may not be looking to beat anyone up, but he plays tough.

Wow, you really have no clue. Any poster on here that thinks we should trade Pleks has no hockey IQ. If we were in a rebuild I would agree but you don't trade a player like Pleks when you are in the hunt for a Cup. We are not that far away.

As mentioned before, it wouldn't be unanimous amongst the fan base and media alike.

Recovery time is about 6-8 weeks and then rehabilitation and therapy time follows. He'll be back for next season but it's all determined on how well he rehabs and rests. Hope Price is going to be okay.

@RenLavoieRDS:
Carey Price (knee) would have miss 4 to 6 weeks if Canadiens were still in the playoffs. #RDS

What a ridiculous comment, Galchenyuk is a better player. Not even close.
