Digging old Brent up again to replace his son, are we?

I thought only ROOT Sports did that.

(If that was done on purpose, I apologize for taking the bait).

It wasn't done on purpose.

I always think of Brent when I hear Sutter. Changing it now.

I'm hoping the Pens aren't fooled by the shut out and go back to playing loosy goosy hockey.

As a great man once said "Man for man we're better than any club in the league."

One thing about Malkin. We all know that he has a lingering shoulder issue. I am guessing some of the explosions we have seen are out of frustration from being able to do only 80% of what he is used to doing. Having his wings playing out of position all series likely did not help his mood either. He also obviously has a longer leash these playoffs. I have seen refs look the other way when he has pulled some of this, as long as it is not too out of line. Refs are not idiots, they know what is going on, hell they know Malkin and that he can go over the line now and then. This playoffs they have given him a small bit of room to get away with this stuff if the other team starts it. For the most part they have either let it go or taken the other guy off the ice with him. They obviously are looking for the Islanders to start things.

From the pregame thread,

You guys are patting yourself on the back with the new lines, talking about damage control, maybe we should wait and see if these lines work, i have no doubt Geno's line will be better, but i got doubts with Sid's line, Sid's a team guy, but i bet hes not to thrilled with his new line.

I doubt he had been thrilled with his old line the last three games either. They were playing like garbage.

also, I disagree. I expect that line to be rock solid.

Got a good feeling about tonight. I think if we win, it'll be because Geno has a big night.

I dunno, to me it seems pretty obvious Sid and Geno both love playing with Kunitz, you might be right with the line, but lets see what happens first.

Malkin dives in the bench and beats Matt Martin with a Gatorade bottle.

<Posters think the lines should be different>

"lol you think you guys know better than Dan Bylsma? 200 wins, dumbasses"

<Bylsma changes the lines to what many thought they should be>

"Lol, you guys wanna be behind the bench or something? 200 wins, dumbasses"
