Great work by Connolly to get the puck to Palat on that game tying goal. God, Palat seems to be able to do it all. Score, sound defense, amazing play-making. What a player.

Classic Chris Connor on that break-away attempt.

Can you guys give me some info on Tanner Richard, Andrej Sustr, and Cedrick Desjardins?

I have them in a keeper league that allows 25 players. Would you recommend keeping them?

Desjardins is expendable, so big no there. Richard looks to be probably 2-3 years away from being a regular in the NHL, if he ever does. Hard to say what exactly he'll be moving forward. He has great hands and is a fantastic passer, though. Sustr is still fairly raw and needs to work on his strength and footspeed but looks like he could be a second pairing guy. Probably 1-2 years away, if everything goes perfect.

Looks like Syracuse didn't have much rust after the long break. Leading 4-1, almost halfway through the 2nd period now. http://theahl.com/stats/game-summary...ame_id=1011076

5-2, they scored with 2 seconds left...what a stinger. But they won!

Now they just gotta keep it up!

Plus! Drouin and MacKinnon won the QMJHL Championship tonight with a 5-1 win. Drouin had 1 goal and 1 hit with a +2, while MacKinnon had 1 goal, 1 assist, 2 hits and a +2.

Seriously though, he is probably the most boring PBP guy I've ever heard.

Also, do my ears deceive me or was the Falcon's goal song Chelsea Dagger?

It is. The Solar Bears use that as the goal song, love it.

Oh do they? Only team I knew that used it as their goal song was the Blackhawks. Gonna have to go catch a Solar Bears game next season, heard a lot of good things about the atmosphere

Seems to me there is a player on the Falcons who is way too eager to meet Mr Neilson when the series returns to Syracuse. Or Mr Witkowski or Mr Nielsen.

One Dalton Prout. Fought Angeledis last night, hammered Johnson tonight and Wyman dropped the gloves to take up for his teamate. Was not pretty.
Good to be back. Doc wont let me go back to the games or volunteer fire fighting (both have too much stress) until mid June at the earliest.
Portland was one of the dirtiest teams we played all year. I hope for at least a home and home in the regular season next year as most of them punks deserve a beatdown similiar to the one Ottawa delivered to Montreal. Oh yes, many in the Crunch stands felt the Pirates were a bunch of whiney Cindy Crosby wannabes hiding behind their visors and the officials. One thing to say to Portland..SCOREBOARD BABY!

I can see Johnson becoming playoff MVP. 13 points in 5 games, incredible.

Him or Palat would be my bet if the Crunch win the title. Palat has been just as impressive IMO

Syracuse wins 5-3, Bass stirs things up after horn, punches Gudas, points to Crunch bench.

Yea and when I did, the doc says it could be 6 months vice 6 weeks. Got to do another EKG before he will release me. At least I get to start light workouts on Monday.
Bass is another clown. Not sure why he was pointing to the Crunch bench. Makes for interesting games in Syracuse this week.
