Took a bit of a high hit under his chin from what I could tell, left for much of the 3rd.

Can someone describe the hit that has given Mark some trouble, not a head shot was it?

This is nuts. I stopped watching and put the Islanders game on. Duthie mentioned some crazy stuff going on in the Colts game but i didn't expect this!

OT should be good.
I wonder if Hamburglar goes back in the net now? Can't really imagine them using Fotinos in OT????

Bit of a blind-side hit, hard to tell.

Hard to tell - came from the side as Scheifele passed the puck. He went into the boards awkwardly and was on the ice for a spell. Went to the dressing room, then sat on the bench until the last couple of minutes of the 3rd.

Hmm. I think I'd leave Fotinos in. Bad juju to swap them again, methinks. Its probably just coincidence, but the Colts did play better when he went in.

Tough call.

Yeah, that's a really good point actually.

Personally, I would go with Fotinos, it's likely preferable to throwing a rattled Niederberger back in there.

I think I agree - as good as Neiderberger can be, he does seem rattled tonight. I'll bet Hawerchuk keeps Fotinos in.

Of course, I'm a horrible gambler, but...

Well, darn. Great pass for the goal by London. EDIT: just watched the goal again - pretty much a perfect pass by Domi for the goal.

Game 7 in London. Hopefully the Colts keep up the momentum they gained in the 3rd.

In Game 7... try not to do this whole 4-goal deficit thing again. Please.

I've really been thinking of this resently with this series not being on tv and all, why isn't there a say CHL network channel? Would it not make enough money? A channel that has a game or two on a night, I would definitely buy it. Could even have multiple channels to brodcast multiple games.

I don't think posters on hfboards are very representative of the general population. Junior hockey is not going to pull heavy ratings outside of the teams cities. I'd watch it too, but most people would not.

Scheifele named OHL Player of the Week for the second straight week...

http://www.ontariohockeyleague.com/a..._143903/143903

Not much of a surprise given his back-to-back five point games in the OHL final.

No Scheifele tonight, didn't even travel with the team to London apparently.

If Scheif's seriously hurt I think I'd prefer Barrie lost.. Would be a crazy amount of draft eligible talent at the Memorial cup with Portland, Halifax, and London.

Well if Mark isn't playing tonight, Barrie's task just got that much harder. In a one game, winner take all situation its not impossible, but will take a real team effort. Boys would have to rally around the missing team members.

Any word on Scheifele's injury? I'm guessing concussion, but haven't seen anything confirming that. Seems like there might be questions whether he could be out days or weeks.

Man I hope its not a concussion. Having not seen the hit I have no idea what his injury could be.

The Jets have ended their affiliation with the Colorado Eagles.

#NHLJets and Colorado Eagles mutually make the decision to end their ECHL affiliation. Jets will have a new affiliate next season.

Well... this has proven a bit anticlimactic. Was kind of hoping to watch Scheifele compete in the final tonight.
