Not like I actually bought it

He gave it to me. Also forced me to go to a game at the Coliseum

The Penguins may have seemingly infinite offensive talent, but they're just not a likable team.

I just want the Islanders to get eliminated cause everytime they win, that raises my expectations for the Rangers. I don't want to see Islander fans say how they won one more game than the rangers in the playoffs or some ******** like that.

I figured that much. I remember something in the OT threads about you knowing him.

But he's a fishstick.

Yup. I watched that Sens-Habs series and loved every game. There were defensive breakdowns and some bad goaltending but so what. The games were fast. Up and down hockey with lots of hitting and scoring chances. That's hockey. Objective of the game is to score more than your opponent not form a circle in your zone to block every shot.

The only thing I like about that team is that Fleury sucks.

And their jerseys from 20 years ago were pretty cool.

I've known for a few years now that the Rangers do not play a truly 'natural' style with plenty of uninhibited play.
I find myself liking the 'system' approach less and less, and like you guys say, it translates to hamstrung, inhibited hockey....equals not very exciting.

Meh even if Isles lose, I think Ottawa will beat the pens.

That would be justice for what Moore did to Karlson.

Cooke? Besides, CSI Ottawa was not able to prove any intent.

you have to have a 'system' otherwise any half competent team will beat you, the problem is that the current Rangers system seems far too restrictive and limiting

Wow. Rough loss for the Isles. They were looking good out there.

Isles a bit unlucky, they carried the play in OT.

Well done by the Pens

That goal looked like a replay of Martin's tying goal.

The only reason I hope the Pens lose to the Isles is that Bylsma will be available most likely. Hed be perfect for this roster.

In fact, just get any coach who actually knows what the terms "forecheck", "shoot" and "pinch" mean and actually mentions them during a game.
