Offense from Tampa Bay's org for defense from Phoenix's org. Put it in ink, and then squabble amongst yourselves which for which. Somewhere between Paradis for OEL and Stamkos for Valabik (all first-rounders!).

Pens will trade either Fleury, Dustin Jeffrey, or Robert Bortuzzo. i know, what a bold prediction (maybe Fleury is the bold one but still)

No way we trade Hanowski.

Maybe Vancouver starts to make huge trades other than Luongo? I can't think of anyone but it seems possible.

Pens will acquire Bernier for a 2nd and a 3rd.
Fleury will be moved in a deal for a Top 15 Pick in this draft

Unproven?

He had more goals on a team that has 2 other 1st overalls and an NHL All-star.

I get that Subban is in no position to be traded, but give your head a shake.

A trade between the two might not work out then as I doubt the Leafs will be make a run next year and giving up a first for a 37 year old impending UFA when you're not a serious contender is bad business.

if your talking the kings j bernier your wrong He will not be traded for that low of a package. Worth more to the kings as a backup.

Unless Fleury gets back in these playoffs and plays well, his value s pretty much neutral a significant piece would have to be added to fetch a top 15.

LAK/NYI over Bernier is probably the single most likely trade going into the draft, hands down.

Overpayment on the Canadiens part, but people are hungry for change out here

**edit- Seriously though the 5 (I include Schultz as a non-tradeable asset) will not be moved. If anything, MacT will trade Gags, Lander and draft picks for bits and pieces**
If you won't trade any of the 5, you're not likely to get any good players in a trade.

Yak does not fill a need for us. Subban fills a HUGE need for us. Why again would we trade Subban for Yakupov? Not to mention, I wouldn't trade Subban for Yak straight up - I'd want a decent plus.

What does Buffalo want with Stastny?

Start with a decent prospect and 2014 1st and we'll talk.

Elite D's are much more scarce than elite forwards...Yak WILL be great, but Subban is a few steps ahead and playing a position that carries very few superstars. Elite D's simply do not get traded anymore unless an exceptional overpayment is received. Add to this that Subban is under 25 with still much upside.

I'll start it off with one I heard on a podcast -

PK Subban for Oilers 1st (7th overall) and one of their young forwards.

If I were the Habs it would take quite a lot to move Subban.

Oilers #7 overall + Yakupov + MPS
