Great episode!

Really good look at the quebec food scene, and touches on the essence of being Quebecois.

Enjoy.

Such a good episode. I know it's insanely expensive but I HAVE to go to Au Pied de Cochon.

Wow! Thanks for the link. Very interesting. I know the show, never saw this episode, though.

I love Anthony Bourdain (my name derives from him), but how does that reflect on what it is to be Quebecois? That episode was over the top extravagant, and I doubt any of us eat (or could afford to eat) like that on a daily basis.

If you just want to see a bunch of poor fatties eat some poutine, you can come over to my place, sometime, I guess.

Great episode, watched it on CNN yesterday.
If you look closely during the scene where they are playing shinny hockey, on the outdoor rink near Liverpool house, you'll notice David Desharnais playing with the locals... DD is the guy laying on the ice after being knocked over by a 10 year old kid.

It's actually not insanely expensive, considering the portion sizes. Go with friends, split dishes and it's pretty reasonable. The pig's foot easily feeds 2 and is around $25 if I recall correctly.

Just send me it by PM, and I'll take care of it so you never need to provide it again.
