Who is the best Staal (in point production) this WC.

The dutch descended Canadian Staal family has perhaps found an addition to an otherwise already great hockey family. Eric Staal was approached in the game against Denmark by Kim Staal asking if it was too late for him to be adopted?
No definite answer to that has been forthcoming, but Kim Staal does his best on the Danish 4'th line to make the name proud. His assists against the Czech was a beauty for the old veteran.

The internal Staal point battle.
Kim Staal 1G 3A in 4 games (best danish forward).
Eric Staal 0G 2A in 4 games.
Jordan Staal 1G 0A in 4 games.

Maybe adoption is still not out of the question.......

For those who knows about Danish Hockey History it was Kim Staal who basically lead the Danish elite division debut in WC 2003 to a 5-2 win over USA (where Denmark also drew 2-2 against Canada).

He is a gem to have in the locker room for any team. A humour-bomb ready to go off. It's so great for Denmark to have him back this tournament. Hope he can stay healthy for many years to come.
He is probably the best known danish hockey player for the general public?!

I have few friends who support Herlev all the way, and they say Kim often comes to the club house and mingles with the Fans. They all call him by his first name aswell. It's pretty cool. I had the pleasure of talking to him and Kevin Klein during the Lockout

BTW, Klein was very friendly aswell.

Niklas Wikegård also said very nice things about him on SW4 when they showed Denmark-Norway.
Wikegård was coach for Kim Staal in Malmö in SEL 1998-2001.
