I never liked Green. He's simply a smug jerk so used to being a big fish in his small pond. The guy was turned into a star because of scoring while being a junk defenceman.

I thought the refs let both teams pretty much play and only called the obvious stuff, which is how hockey should be.

Also, maybe now people can stop talking about how Lundqvist needs to "steal" a win.

It brings joy to my soul to see lundqvist shutout WSH just because their fan base are the biggest whiny little ****** i have ever seen. Worse than PIT, worse than MTL. My goodness.

Also, Outside of henrik godqvist, Stralman has been a candidate for MVP. Quietly playing SO solid.

I just wish at least one time we could see Stepan and CK together like they were last year because they have good chemistry

There was nothing blatant. The Rangers were very disciplined. Even in the last game, the Rangers took only two penalties, which wer obvious ones. They have been very disciplined.

I thought Nash turned in a better effort tonight, maybe that's just my perception.

Cally is doing weird stuff, not sure why. Mostly after sticking with Richards for the season, I am happy that he is getting few minutes. He does very little that rises up and gets your attention.

How the hell didn't Rangers get a 4 min PP when Green was being...well...Green...

He made him bleed, rules says "you bleed, it's 4 mins in the box" for being a Homer.....

Capitals fans only thought they got a team when AO was gifted to them for being horrendous. Bandwagon chumps who take pride in winning a division in which a bunch of 9-10 year olds could give them a run for their money.

I still don't see how they helped us. The Rangers have been disciplined all year. They know if they start taking penalties, this series is over. It's not like a team has to take penalties.

Nope, conspiracy. League has it out for Washington, sorry.

Thanks Henrik.

Expect some Caps power plays tomorrow. But I don't get the pissing and moaning. The Rangers PP does nothing but give Ovechkin rest and tire out the Rangers' "best" players.

Nash and Richards are getting paid to do nothing. Must be nice.

Nash is injured. Physically or mentally. He's trying, but he's lost the edge.

Richards: I don't know. I think he's done for the year, he just doesn't seem to have it anymore. I want to see him next year.

Callahan: The most snakebit son of a ***** I've ever seen. Effort is there, maybe too much. Gripping the stick too hard.

We get any one of those 3 to show up big tomorrow, we'll win. We don't, it's going to be a tough, tough game.

Channeling my best bill cowher: Today we became a team, we became a mother ****ing team!

They were fighting for each-other at the end and it was great to see. Their nuts dropped collectively out there and it was about time. **** the score they showed character! Good for them

The blood = 4 min rule is only for high sticks. The penalty called was a cross check. That said, still should have been more than 2 min. But since it was so late in the game, the refs weren't going to do that the way they were calling the game.

It should absolutely be a suspension, unless the Dept of Player Safety is a joke. That said, the Dept of Player Safety is a joke. So it won't be. Plus next game is game 7.
