The only way we win tomorrow is if Lundqvist is even better than he was in games 5 and 6, and I don't think that's possible, OR Holtby ***** the bed, which isn't likely either.

Really thought Green should've gotten a 5 there and a look from the league for a suspension. There's no possible way to cloud this, that was a deliberate cross check directly to a guy's face.

I am happy we won but our PP still sucks and we can't score more often.

One of the players in the scrum said he got kicked in the head, think it was Green, if so it couldn't have happened to a bigger tool. Friend of mine went to HS with him, said he's a ******.

Love seeing the Caps lose it.

For all the whining about the power plays, I didn't see any blatant missed call on us. I could still count about 5 on them. They are incredibly undisciplined and get away with a lot against us.

I'm actually glad the next game is so soon, hopefully it's not enough time for the Caps to cool off. They're professionals so I won't get my hopes up. Love all the whining though. I can't imagine if they lose Game 7.

Why....just why can't they hire someone to help their power play click??? This is so upsetting to watch.

Everyone is saying Brassard is amazing, and I agree. BUT, Mr Stralman has been outstanding. Ill even go as far as to say that he has been our best defenseman in the series. He played an outstanding game today.

^ Yea, I voted Brassard, Stralman, Hank. Interesting that it was the Rangers and not the Devils where he's succeeded.

Mcd and g-man say hi for the work on OV. 0 that's a zero points in 4 games now. Considering the streak he was on that's freaking incredible.

Stralman's been our most noticeable defenseman but you have to give McD and Girardi props for shutting down that 1st line.

All three have been pretty great

This is the part the whiners seem to have no answer for: what did the Rangers do that should've been called? Callahan missing an elbow to the face, MDZ finishing a check?

If the Caps stopped crosschecking in front of the ref and firing the puck over the boards, the call would probably be even.

Stralman has been improving over the last season, but he really does show a lot of intelligence in the way he has stepped up.
And, just think, he was the defenceman who laid a rubout hit on a Capital (forget who) that made my heart leap. Instead of letting the player go by, he rubbed him out. That's how I always played it.

Im not bashing them by saying what I did. But its more thats its expected from them. Stralman was not expected to be as good as he has. He's raised his game to a whole new level, imo. Just great to see.

It was on Chimera, which made it even better. I was hoping someone had a gif of it, because it was a beautiful hit.

The fact that they, all of them, consistently had to point to Cally's 'Avery-esqe' troll elbow says it all.

There was nothing else, unless it was ticky tack garbage.

I could see that happening. Hank may let in 2-3. Hopefully Holtby let's in at least one more than Hank does.
