Rangers Leafs sounds like a very nice 2nd round match up for me. Both teams will have to overcome a big hurdle to make this happen.

I'm going underdog all the way here!

Historically, if anyone is interested, last time leafs ranger met was 1971. Prior, they met 8 times. record is 5-3 leafs.

Boston has been abominable in home game 7s the last 10 years, even the ones they have won were by the skin of their teeth, I think they lose tonight. The Caps I think win their game, going with the fact the home team has won the first 6 and that method has only failed 3 times for the 7th game, I think the home crowd whining is going to help them get a few PPs tonight as well.

If the Leafs and Rangers win (which I'm hoping) then the 1,5,6,and 7 seeds of each conference will be in the semi's.
Has that ever happened? Not necessarily 1-5-6-7 but the same seeds of each conference.....you know 1-2-3-4, 2-4-6-8 you get it!!!

It deserves a thread of it's own, if it happens.

dude at this point I'll take a even game with no PPs for either team. If we get a PP I might have to throw a party at casa de RockDaRed(or should it be casa da RockDaRed?lol) .

Picked NYR over WSH in 7 and TOR over BOS in 7 in the NHL.com Bracket Challenge, sticking with it.

Three straight over Boston would be quite an accomplishment. As well as the Leafs have played I think Bruins step it up.

Caps and Rags both look so tame. Could we just eliminate both teams and have another Boston Toronto series?

Caps and Bruins. Though I wouldn't be at all surprised to see NYR or TOR pull it off. Gonna be some good games tonight.

As a Ranger fan, I have to say Rangers and I'm going to go with Toronto. They've been the better team as of late.

I want and think it will be Leafs v/s Rangers.

If it happens, it could be 2nd O-6 matchup of the Conference semi-finals (same applies for Bruins/Rangers).

The Caps - Rangers has been a Home-ice series, so one could pick the Caps; though it could really go either way,... neither team really established a momentum, other than just winning their games at home.

As for Toronto - Boston... hah... The Bruins are in deep doo-doo.

3 straight wins over Boston is next to not possible, especially with 2 of them at home.

Bruins - anything.

Boston is not in trouble IMO. This is a game seven and they'd have to be mentally incompetent to not get up for this game.

As a Leafs fan it pains me to say this but I think the Bruins win tonight quite easily, 4-1.

Rags, Broons

I want the Leafs to win but I think Boston will fire on all cylinders and score 4 or 5 goals.

I picked NYR and Leafs, both in seven before the playoffs started. Guess I'm staying with that.

my only hope/expectation is a close game not like the caps-penguins game in 2011
