Higgins walks in my store today. At first I'm not sure it's him he's wearing a hat, but anyways he's looking at stuff so I go up to him and ask him if he's Higgins.
He says yes and immediately shakes my hand. After that it was funny, because he's the one talking to me, as he shook my hand he asks me "how's it going man, looks pretty quiet in here today" so anyways we talk for maybe 5-10 minutes, seems like a really nice guy, and I was surprised by how big he looks in person.
Anyways that made my day.
You should of said 'Wow, aren't you Kevin Higgins brother!?!'
That's what I would of said, anyways.

Ha, that would have been classic. Or he could of been like one of our friends here who when he saw Radek Bonk, he proceeded to say "Hey Bonk, what's up?"
I know I havent posted in a long while, but I am working full time and just well there arent enough hours in the day.
Reason for the post is that I am going up to Montreal on Saturday the 14th vs the Senators, and then again Tuesday the 17th vs the Flames. Anyone going? Would look forward to meeting some of you guys. Im sure we can set something up.
Take care and be good fellas,
Kev
Great to see you posting again , even with your bro being a big man on campus now, hehe.
I'll actually also be at both games (Saturday the 14th and Tuesday the 17th). First two home games of the year.
Chris is definitely the kind of player that everyone loves. You can be pro- or anti- Koivu, Ribeiro, Kovalev, Ryder, etc., but you can't be against having Mr. Higgins on your team.

I saw latendresse last week in la tour de la bourse at lunch time, i dont't know why he went thereto grab lunch since he was alone and it's like 15 minutes away from the Bell center..
Anyway, he sat there alone eating his subway and strangely, noone seemed to recognized him. Anyway.. he's quite big for a 19 year old.. i can't imagine what he's gonna look like when he's gonna be like 23-23...
Didn't really talked to him, i passed by him and wished him good luck for the weekend !

I know what Latendresse gets on his sub.
Foot long roasted chicken on italian herbs and cheese. Tomatoes, Lettuce, Pickles and Green Peppers. Ranch, Mayo and BBQ Sauce with Salt and Pepper. Not to mention regular cheese.
Now that everyone knows this peice of information, I'm going to buy a few shares of Subway.
Chris Higgins is a top notch guy. My friends cousin went to school with him and has only said great things about him. If anyones wondering what school it was its Avon farms or something like that. My friend is such a huge fan he wanted to invite him for thankgiving dinner hahaha and he was serious. His cousin tried to get a hold of him but couldnt on time.
Nice, exchanged any words with them ? What car does Sammy have ?
They were kind fo in a hurry, but had time to talk with them for about 5 minutes after their game. Kovalev was impressivly built, and I was suprised of how samsonov was small. They didn't really talk to anyone and kind of hurried their way when people was looking at them.
As for what car Samsonov is driving, I don't know because he was in the same car as Kovalev, a Beige Hummer.
Hey, will be at both games too, I can't wait til the season starts! God I miss hockey! I will finally be able to drink a few beers after hockey games...THAT IS GREAT MAN

It's Avon Old Farms, when I was in high school I worked at the skating rink the next town over. AOF has it's own rink, but they played some of their away games at the rink where I worked. Higgins would have been a sophomore and a junior (I think) the two years I worked there, so it's entirely possible that I met him at one point and didn't even know it. We get articles about him in the local paper once in awhile, which is nice because otherwise it's all Bruins and Rangers- when they cover hockey at all.

I'm going to both of those games. On Saturday, I'm working, too. I work at the store in the front of the bell centre... the one you can access from the outside of the arena. If you pass by between 9:30 and 4, come say hi. I'll be sure to wear my Higgins tshirt to make things a bit weird for ya .
But yeah, if you decide to drop by, say hi. My name's Mike.
