To
Brenden Morrow
Johannes Salomonsson (contract reasons)

To
Nikita Filatov
Matt Puempel

I shed some salary in the form of Morrow, who I had doubts about resigning in the off-season anyways, and my team has enough wing depth to move someone like Jokinen or Dupuis into the top 6. I add two solid prospects to my weak pool of forward prospects, and I have hopes that Filatov can progress into a solid top 6 forward and work his way out of draft bust territory.

That's a solid trade for both sides. Good stuff.

with the arrival of Vanek, Hemsky is now available for prospects and picks. The prospects coming back will obviously have to be good.

1. Message your opponents, please. Don't rely on the thread.

2. If you want to post a reminder of your availability, you should probably do it in the main league thread, rather than the roster and trade thread.

I confirm, the Habs are sad to let Eller go but finally get a C who can win face-offs

I've been getting some inquiries about Dustin Brown, so I'm just going to post here for everyone.

He's not on the block or being shopped, but he's not untouchable either.

The only way I'm moving him is if I'm packaging him + a defenceman (Scuderi, Mitchell, Greene, Regehr, or Ellerby) or Bernier for a 1st line, young LW.

If you're still interested, PM me here and we can figure something out.

TRADE

acquire

Erik Cole (LW 85)
Alex Chiasson (RW 67)
Tom Wandell (C 74)
Dallas 2013 2nd

acquire

Mika Zibanejad (C 73)
Jakob Silfverberg (RW 73)
Cole Schneider (roster limit/no value)

Dallas continues the rebuild by acquiring two very solid pieces for the future.

Ottawa makes another addition to their top six forwards, and acquires some futures to make up for the loss in prospects.

accept, nice to get cole, as i expect alfie to retire after this season sucks lossing Mika z and silfverberg but Wandell and Chissaon are nice piece's, i doubt chissaon deveolps that well but he will be fun to play with..

Trade possible because of the beauty bishop for conacher deal, like my team going forward, dont mind getting a slighty older player its a summer league, doubt their age will really matter to much ... we will probally get 3 or seasons in before nhl 14
