Can't stand how high and mighty the LA Kings fans and social media account got after winning their first stanley cup.

I dislike the Sharks but a win for the Sharks is a win for interesting hockey.

You must be a Sens fan to know that bit of trivia.

For a club that had as many high picks as the Senators the whole franchise has been a disaster on and off the ice.
hahaha. no need to pout because you were wrong.
And no, not a Sens fan at all, just a hockey fan. Mostly I was pointing out that Vancouver has been just as ****.

I can't believe some Penguin's fans are advocating starting Fleury for game 1 vs the Sens. He hasn't done anything in the playoffs since his Lidstrom save a couple years ago in the finals. How many times are you going to be fooled?

Have to go with the goalie that is winning. This is kinda the problem with the 1a 1b come playoff time.

I hear ya.
But they get a pass for destroying Vancouver.

Just like the Sharks do this year.

Not a huge fan of Kings hockey but can't argue it's successful.

I've been a Sharks fan for a long time and I'm hoping now that the pressure is off they might have a chance to go to the Finals, but TBH, they'd have to beat LA and then likely Chicago.

That's tough.

Kings in 6, Hawks in 6.

Oh, I was wrong, yeah, I should at least admit that. Its funny what human memory leaves out in your second 50yrs on the planet.

But that said, and I'm not defending nucks in anyway, is they made it to the dance 3 times and twice lost in game 7. Sens made it once and got smoked in a quick series.

The Bruins anthem singer reminds me of Robert Goulet.

And that backwards walk fist-pump thing he does annoys the **** out of me. Sorry, I had to vent.

Funny thing is that Ottawa actually scored more goals in the 5 game series than Vancouver did in 7 against Boston.

So erm, the Leafs showing a smaller team isn't necessarily ineffective against the biggest, baddest squad in the NHL. Giving Boston everything they can handle.

I think the big difference between us and the Leafs is their younger guys are simply more mature. Kessel is in his mid-20s, Lupul is a veteran now, and Kadri is a year older than Hall and was brought along slowly.

Pretty sure that Boston isn't actually that big of a team. Toronto is bigger for sure.

Never been a fan of them, but I've asked myself why I'm rooting for this leafs squad and I think the answer is they remind me of the 90s/00s Oilers of old. They have a team that has no business being there. They're getting by on goaltending and heart. That's a team anyone can cheer for.

The Leafs play hard. What else can you say. Boston looks tired though.

Nobody is afraid of the big bad Bruins anymore. They're the next Philadelphia.

B ... bu ... but the internet told me Chara and Lucic would break the Leaf smurfs like Kessel and Kadri.

Even if the Leafs lose that doesn't show that the Bruins type roster is the only way to build a team.

Yikes, Kelly blatantly elbows JvR in the face and the refs "miss" it.

Toronto ends up shorthanded a minute later.

Great physical game for the first 30+ minutes, then the Bruins start doing whatever the hell they want and the refs begin to allow it. Hopefully they get a call in the intermission to tighten things up.

Bruins look old, slow and tired....Leafs fast and hungry...Bs are cooked

And Washington doesn't look good either plus the Rangers got their 1 goal and with King Henrik they look ready to advance

A Brian Burke built team looking like a playoff team.

Hey Boston, remember when you won the Cup against the Canucks and made everyone East of BC happy?

Yeah, neither do I. You've undone it.

EDIT: Don't forget BB helped build the Bruins too.
