Buff. The only thing this team lacks is an elite net presence. No doubt its Buff.

Byfuglien

I'd drop Handzus and roll a Byfuglien-Sharp-Kane 2nd line.

One player, in their current form? Well, the Hawks wouldn't need Buff as a Dman, so I'd take Ladd.

Saad - Toews - Hossa
Ladd - Sharp - Kane
Bickell - Bolland - Stalberg
Shaw - Kruger - Frolik

Just because he plays defense now doesn't mean he has to play defense. Buff could still be a dominant power forward. Ladd would be my second pick and Brian Campbell 3rd.

Ladd, without a doubt.

And I say that as one of Byfuglien's biggest fans in 2010.

We don't need a defenseman, and as a forward Buff was the definition of inconsistency.

Right, but the question asks, "Which player, in their current form". Buff is a Dman now.

The defense is better than the Cup winning team. We don't need Campbell although he was good on PP. Current form would make Byfuglein a defenseman.

I think I would want Sopel or Madden just to slow things down a bit.

If I added Ladd I boot Handzus.

Buff AINEC. The PP needs him badly to be camped in front of the opposing goalie.

If Buff was on the team, current form would be what he is told.

That would be fine. In his current form he would go back to being a forward.

That's not what form is. At least in my interpretation.

Form is about current ability, health, age, that kind of stuff.

By this definition it's Buff without even thinking twice about it.

Ladd ainec.

Can't go wrong with Buff, but Ladd is better all around and can provide a net presence that we need.

Current form Buff is probably completely out of shape and weighs 300lbs since the regular season ended a couple weeks ago.

I assume when you said who you would get rid of, you meant who to dump to make the cap fit.

But disregarding that, i say Buff so that we would put him on the point on our PP. He could play forward the rest of the time.
