Congratulations and props from a Leafs fan.

Won't lie as a fan of this team my whole life I knew it was too good to be true. Feels like a ****ing emotional gunshot wound.

Congratulations, you guys earned it and showed amazing heart. Best of luck.

I was planning on jumping over to your guys' neck of the boards, but I'll start here first. You have a great team up there. Keep your head up, man. I think the Leafs have shown that they are more than capable to returning to the playoffs for a long time. This series will help them out for the better next year.

You guys gave us a hell of a series. We could have easily lost this.

If it's any consolation, you remind me a lot of where the Bruins were in 2008. You are almost there.

And congrats back to you guys for a fantastic series. The fans and the team showed a lot of class during the playoff and consoling us after the bombing.

Looking forward to several more years of great competition.

Bruins are the first team I can think of for comparing he leafs. An amazing series that could have gone either way. Love the depth and toughness of Boston and I'm hoping one day the leafs will be like that

Ill be cheering for the bruins out of the east

I'll echo the thoughts of others: Leafs fans by and large have been very classy. Great fans for sure with a team to look forward to in future years.

You guy are just starting, you'll be back. This will be a learning experience that all rebuilt teams need to go through. Your forward set is too good. Your defense has some decent pieces. Obviously Reimer is not an elite goalie. He gives up way too many rebounds and then winds up on his belly. Get a stud goalie and you guys will be nasty.

Best of luck

Another leaf fan here.

Congrats on the series win. Hell of a series to be apart of and I wouldn't of taken another matchup, should give us some serious confidence for next season.

Good luck on your run towards another cup.

Don't wanna start an argument but Reimer played great this series. I think he is very deserving of a #1. Especially with all the pressure that comes with playing in Toronto, let alone a first playoff birth in 9 years.

I have a ton of respect for the Leafs...I have been impressed with them all season long. Many were not giving them the credit that they deserved despite the fact the the Leafs gave us all we could handle this season. Congrats to you guys and we will meet again....hopefully we still win.

Have no hate for the Leafs at all. Dislike a few players but overall I don't dislike them like I dislike Sabres or Canadiens

Simply a crushing defeat. Now I know what you Red Sox fans went through all those years before rallying against the Evil Empire in the ALCS after being down 3-0, and then going on to win it all. I rooted for you then, and I'll do it again. But man, this one hurts.

This loss is going to stagger a city for a while. Simply unfathomable how you blow a 4-1 lead in the third period of a Game 7.

At the end of the day, it's a hockey game. What happened a month ago on the streets of Boston, for me, puts the game in perspective. I would like to think we will learn from this and come back stronger next year, but it's hard to look forward to next year right now. This one is going to hurt for a while.

Good luck Bruins. I'll be pulling from you. Thanks for a fun ride. It will go down as an epic collapse, choke job, whatever you want to call it...but it is also going to be remembered as a classic series.

Congrats Boston fans. I have a lot of respect for your team. I hope the Leafs can become a team like the Bruins. This was a hard fought series, and your team showed great heart to fight back from that. For me though it will always feel like a choke of gross proportions. Not discounting the Bruins' effort to make the comeback, just saying it stings.

Good luck the rest of the way. I hope to see you meet the Sharks (my other favourite club) in the SCF.

Another Leaf fan coming to give Kudos, great game, great series.... As horrible as it feels now for us leaf fans we have a lot to look forward to.

This game is a great indicator why you guys are a SC favorite. All the best going forward.

One hell of a series

Thanks bud. You have a lot to be proud of and your team has a great future.

Cheers for all of the great sportsmanship, hard fought series but you never sunk to Montreal/Vancouver's level. We'll meet again and meet again we will soon.

When Lucic complemented Toronto, it really did make all the difference. Classy move by a classy team. Go win the cup.

This is by far my favorite thing about hockey fans. If this was a NBA game that went from a 30-point deficit to an OT loss or a football game that followed a similar script, you won't get much in the way of respect from the losing team. Props to the Leafs on a tough, demanding series. Future looks good for you guys.

Nothing but respect for the Leafs and their fans. Compared to some other fan bases, I would gladly see the Leafs have success in the future against a large portion of other fan bases. Indeed, keep your heads high Leafs fans. Hang on to Reimer. Darn good this series, young goalie who may benefit more from this than anyone. He was solid as heck.

Edit: Beaten to it.

Gotta give my props too. I thought overall we played a tad better overall in the series, but the Bruins are a veteran team and sitting on a lead in the 3rd of the 7th game was a horrendous game plan. Congrats and good luck going forward.

I dunno, really the Leafs should've won this. Probably not exactly the right way to put it.....but if any fanbase can feel your pain over what just happened it's definitely B's fans. We blew a 3 goal lead in a series that we lead 3-0....As much as it hurts right now, you will be a better team because of this.
