Click the link and play 'Tim and Sid - May 14 - 1pm' and then skip to the 27:50 mark.

Very appropriate for this thread. I couldn't help but laugh at the caller's comments.

Montreal radio was having fun with the "biggest choke in NHL history" too. They are unabashed with their Schadenfreude for the Leafs.

Hey, if it was the Leafs going through instead of us, not a prayer I am cheering for those guys. I would cheer for North Korea over the Leafs. Leaf Fan can bite me, then head to the mini putt course tonight while we watch our team. I don't really want them.

Toronto thinks it's Canada's team. In reality, the Leafs and Toronto in general polarizes the country. Too much bad blood for Habs and Sens fans to hop on board, too much Western apathy for the Flames or Oilers to bandwagon, and Vancouver seems to have divided loyalties when it comes to second teams.

Although, let's be honest, there is no Canadian team that transcends all the rivalries, except perhaps if Winnipeg went on a big run this year or last year (too young to have re-established their old rivalries, and too geographically neutral to foster a 'Battle of' resentment).

CBC has Pittsburgh, Boston, and re-runs of Coronation Street higher in its list of preferable television before the SENS.

Funny story. For the second straight year rebuilding Ottawa Senators team wins more playoff games than all other Canadian teams COMBINED.

This whole "Canada's team" nonsense is just crazy, who cares? We have the olympics for nationalistic pride. This is about Ottawa! Worry about Canada's team when we're watching Sochi
