That is just Duchene from what I can see he can't cycle and turns it over like that is in fashion.

Or maybe Duchene isn't a one man show he thought himself to be and his overhandling of the puck is a low success rate strategy

I do not like that elimination games are decided 4 on 4 then overtime.

Yeah. This is not the way to settle a game. I hate the shootout.

Eberle the lone goal scorer in the first 3 rounds and then hits the post when he needs to score to keep Canada alive.

That's a shame.

How the hell could Oilers let Fredrik Pettersson go?

With the mentality and spirit this guy has he would take Oilers to the play-offs all by himself!

LET'S GO SWEDEN!!!!!

Ruff mismanaged his roster all tournament. It looks good on him.

there is almost no chance Hall makes Sochi. Yzerman is sitting in the stands and must have thought that Hall wasn't good enough to be a difference maker.

Thanks Lindy

Devan Dubnyk 4-0

I was going to say, he would look great in our bottom six. I know he had a training camp tryout with Atlanta a couple years ago, but is he looking at coming back to NA now?

So we lost in a shootout? Lol. Pretty much sums up why nobody gives a rats arse about the WHC. Same goes for the Olympics by the way, just in case people think I'm bitter. (Canada's 2 Olympic golds don't mean a thing to me) Stupid format, always was, always will be. Single game, shootout tournaments are a disgrace to hockey.

There's some credence to that. Smith got too much positive press and Dubnyk's tournament was tainted by the Slovenia game.

Loved the contrast between the attempts of Duchene and Pettersson.

Duchene half ***** his way down the ice and wrists a weak one from the hashmarks for an easy save. Pettersson flies down the center of the ice and takes a howitzer from the same spot but just blows it by Smith. One guy looked like he was ready to put that puck through a wall if he had to, the other looked like he was warming up the goalie in the pre-game skate.

I never realized Duchene was such a massive pug hog until watching these games.

I found Duchene really frustrating to watch all tournament.

Unreal skill and speed but a complete one man show.
