Sonnen talks about the gameplan for the fight, what went wrong, his thoughts on the early stoppage, and who he wants to fight next

I love he says Wanderlei. He says Vandelay aka Vandelay Industries.

I love that version of Chael Sonnen.

It's the fight-hype one that I find really irritating.

I want him to fight Vitor and Griffin as well. Then he can retire.

The rumor going around is the UFC told Sonnen to call out Silva so they can start promoting the August Fox Sports 1 event. Apparently they are already signed to fight each other which would headline the show.

I find this HIGHLY unlikely. A third fight between them just doesn't make any sense right now, and likely never will.

Wanderlei, not Anderson.

Haha. Wow. I'm arguing with so many people on sherdog about Anderson vs. Jones that the second I see the name Silva Anderson immediately pops into my mind.

I could definitely see that rumor being true.

I think Chael will hold Wanderlei down and beat Wanderlei up. I want to see it, but I don't see how Wanderlei can keep it competitive.

Yeah, I can think of several more interesting matchups for both guys.

Chael is a very bad match up for Wanderlei. He'll get taken down over and over again.

If Rockhold wins in a couple of weeks, I wouldn't mind seeing Chael vs Vitor. Two guys jacked up on testosterone and whatever else they can find who also don't like each other. Could be a decent fight.

I'd really like to see Chael fight someone who can nullify his wrestling, at least mostly.

What about someone like Rashad?

He just did against Jones. Chael's obviously a big draw for the UFC and they're going to want to give him a "winnable" fight against a name opponent. Wanderlei seems like a good match although us diehards can predict how it's likely going to end up already.

Yeah, but I feel like Vitor and Wanderlei are stars too, and can continue to be main card draws as long as they're fighting guys they can beat as well, who fight their style of fights.

Maybe Wanderlei would use his bjj for once. He has been willing to change up his style a bit more, recently. A good 195 matchup.

Healy apparently failed a drug test, and was forced to fork over his fight bonus, as well as declare the match result null and void.

http://ca.sports.yahoo.com/blogs/mma...154118542.html

Which performance-enhancing drug did he test positive for?

Why, marijuana, of course.

Jesus. So ridiculous that TRT is allowed and marijuana is not.

On one hand I feel bad for Pat Healy because that $130K is probably the most money he's made in his entire career and beating Jim Miller was a huge win for him but at the same time, he knew full well that weed was illegal as far as the commissions go taking a stupid risk to get high, is well, stupid.

Yeah, I feel the same way. It just makes me wonder what the commission's goals are. If they're trying to make sure nobody is gaining an unfair advantage from substances, they're dropping the ball.

I think it's the job of the police to enforce issues of law.

I think the commissions stance is that marijuana is still illegal in most states thus making it an illegal substance. Same would go for heroin, cocaine etc. I think it's more of an image thing than a PED thing like they make it seem.

Did the UFC take that bonus money away on their own or is it something they had to do?

Vitor keeps getting these fights in Brazil because they know the commissions won't allow him to use TRT in the US. But they take $130K away from Healy for smoking weed?
