Yeah, when it's 0-0 you'd think it was 3-0...

A lot of hyperbole. People are overstating the quality of the Bruins' chances. The Bruins hardly had any second chances all night because of our defense — remember the Girardi block?

Nash had an impressive regular season (aside from the cold start). But man, has he been a major disappointment this post season. Injury? Inexperience? Who knows, but he needs to show up when it really matters.

In all fairness, the overwhelming majority of those OT games were on the road.

2 of the 3 wins were at home (Roszival vs. Buffalo and Staal vs. Washington)

Off the top of my head, I only remember Chimera scoring from Gaborik in the 3rd OT in 2011 at the Garden. I think the other 10 were all on the road.

How many shots did the Bruins have in OT? If Hank makes one of the saves on those 2 goals he doesn't face all those OT shots. AGAIN though there is zero excuse for the team (Which was playing real well the first half) to completely morph into an AHL squad in the 3rd and especially OT. Really I'm thinking I'm too hard on Hank. 2 goal game. Team should show the ******* up for every period. I'm tired of absolutely hating the F's for disappearing for entire periods but it's just a joke and I guess I shouldn't be excusing them as much as I am. Not that it matters what any of us think

I just watched it again. I don't see it. It was a set trailer play from the left point. Nash was streaking towards the net but was more or less covered. The gap in the play was at the left point.

I guess I could be wrong. But I don't see it.

But, yeah, Bruins hardly had any second chances. Rangers kept them to the outside for the most part.

Wouldn't surprise if this series goes to 7. But their luck is gonna run out like last year. They cant keep depending on game 7's....... No killer instinct whatsoever.

I'm not saying the Rangers penalties weren't penalties, but I still wish Chris Rooney would get the **** out of here.

I commented back on Page 1 that the OT momentum was dictated by the absolutely awful call on Dorsett, but I guess the Rangers just suck so bad that something like that could have never led to the shot disparity...

Rangers did not pressure the 3 rookie defenders of Boston enough.

With that being said, Rangers were not that bad, they were with Boston for the entire game until the overtime. Oddly enough the Bruins are not taking advantage of the space at the points, they are playing a down low game which will be to the Rangers benefit since they collapse around the slot. I see Hank taking game 2 and then anything can happen.
Nash was actually one of our better forwards tonight. He's been playing well since game 6 of last round but everyone will harp on the fact that he has zero goals and make it seem like he's doing nothing. Richards everyone has given up on as being a factor and Callahan as someone else mentioned was AWFUL. I don't know what's been up with him but his decision making out there is terrible.

As you said it was even up until OT and the Bruins took over after that partially thanks to Steve Eminger's stupidity. How many times is he gonna make a stupid pinch? There's two or three a game that make me shake my head.

Unfortunately, we're even worse than that with 2/31.

Or 6.45%. This power play alone should be enough to make heads roll in management. But it won't be.

Agree with everything, and good point about the Rangers not pressuring the rookie defenders, I noticed that as well. They were icing the puck a lot and played tentatively in the first half, the Rangers gave up a good opportunity to throw them off their game.
