Man the pens special teams are outstanding. Decent game though. Sens well have to really try to stay out of the box next game.

Fell asleep in the 2nd period of the Hawks Wings game.....I was tired but found the game pretty boring.

Have to say I think I am losing interest in the playoffs which didn't happen last year. Pitt Ottawa was boring, Chicago Detroit was boring.....LA Sharks is too late for me to stay up (with the young kids) and the idea of the Rangers against anyone makes me want to take a nap. kind of missing the passion.......blues LA had passion.....Habs Sens has passion.......Bruins Leafs had passion......so far this round is a tad boring for me at least. Maybe things will get better as the round progresses but I want to skip some pages of the book right now.

The idea of a Hawks Kings semi or a Bruins Pens semi both seem really interesting on paper so I have that to look forward to.

I agree, I was watching that game and thinking it was pretty dull... took the dog for a walk and didn't bother hitting pause on the PVR.. I'm sure it'll get much better, but for me, there's nothing like the energy and intensity of the first round

Since the Carter trade, Kings have been the #1 score-adjusted Fenwick team in the league.
As long as Quick doesn't **** the bed (which is pretty rare), they've always been heavy faves for the stats crowd.

Now that is a great trade!! That is how you improve a team.....interesting how the kings Built a great 2nd line out of J MF J, Simmons, and Schenn.

After Ottawa bows out I'll officially join the "couldn't care less" club. Doubt I'll bother to check the scores.

OTOH I'll follow the AHL scores until the Marlies are knocked out.

Yeah, I've been paying less attention. If I see there's a close game in the 3rd or an OT happening I might tune in.

Still think when a puck is cleared out it should be similar to an icing. Can't change and (as I heard elsewhere) can't use your timeout. The rule is really only there so that players can't clear the puck and go change, so just take that option away. My team shouldn't be penalized 2 minutes because someone shot it over the glass by accident.

The end result of this would be to see far more zone clears made by players putting the puck off the high glass since the severity for getting it wrong is much less.
The last thing we need right now are more ways to allow easy clears out of zones and more stoppages in play.

I'd also like to see teams not being able to change when the goalie freezes the puck outside the blue paint.
