Just a little more agility and speed and Ferland would be an ideal bottom 6 forward.

Big hit by Dietz on Domi. Not too often you see him get knocked over. In the OHL final, Ekblad took a run at Domi and just bounced off

Speaking of Domi, the Blades are giving him way too much room.

In his defense, Ekblad is probably 120 lbs

Ekblad definitely hasn't filled out yet, but he's still one of the strongest players in the OHL. Very rarely do you see him the get worst of hit. Hell, I don't think I've never seen him get knocked over from reverse check before that incident.

I know you are exaggerating a bit, but he is close to 220.

Yep, terrific player. All that at an age where I was ... well I wasn't doing much at that age

Siemens seems to be the perfect candidate for having reached his ceiling already. Didn't see him improve all year long. Wonder how his pro career will turn out to be. I do remember that he was looking fine in his draft year.

I agree. I certainly wouldn't write him off from carving out an NHL career though. With all the tools that he has, it really makes me wonder why his offensive game hasn't improved one bit. He continually makes the same mistakes with the puck on his stick.

Don't read along the lines, it was a simple joke.

Domi just crushed McColgan. He's doing everything tonight.

Hope McColgan is okay.

A Pufahl-Thrower pairing. I have this sneaky suspicion that the pairing is going to fail miserably.

I want Max Domi. I don't care how short he is.

How unfair is it that a team has 3 potential top 10 picks?

Wouldn't be a Saskatoon Blades game without a minor penalty from every single one of their top 4 defenceman.

Sneaky play by Zadorov. Hard to believe a 6'5 monster was able to sneak away and get in scoring position so easily.

3-2 win for London.

Dietz was awesome tonight. Made some fantastic plays and was the best defenceman on the ice. Thrower was not. Thrower sucked tonight.

Most impressive draft eligible was Domi. No doubts about it. He was all over the ice, creating chances and getting involved. He played far better tonight than he did at any point of the OHL final.

Dakota Mermis also stood out. Solid defensive play, low risk type game.

Horvat was fairly quiet, as was Zadorov. Zadorov got the game-winning goal, but didn't really do much else.

In Horvat's ad Nikita's defense... They're not really flashy players. They made great plays all-around.

One thing that bugs me with Horvat, like Gauthier, is that they actually read the play too much. They don't play instinctively.
