Cheering for Iginla is the right thing to do. Cheering for the Penguins is not.

As a hockey fan, It's not even close which team is more entertaining to watch. Go Pens!
Isn't that what the Habs did, move up to draft Tinordi a few spots higher in the first round? Since they have Calgary's pick in the second round the exact order doesn't matter much from that point on.

I cheer for Pens because I have grown a real dislike for any team that has any talent in the North east division, especially those who have had great success over us. Two teams I hate the most in the North east currently is hands down OTTawa and Toronto. We actually played well vs. Bruins this season and because they won the cup a couple years ago they have already broke my heart, they can't do it again. Usually I like the underdog, but I do have a soft spot for the Pens, I cheered for them during their cup runs vs. Detroit and we actually had playoff success against them so no real hatred.

Anyhow, I am hoping for the Pens in the East, but the Hawks will win the Cup...

Wow I didnt know that. Would the Habs have picked Mikko if they went first before Minnesota? (I've only been a Habs fan since 2004.)

That would've been epic if we had the Koivu's in Montreal.

On topic, yes, **** both teams. I'd rather see Chicago win another cup.

Couldn't care less where they draft. Would rather see Ottawa get smoked in 4.

It seems unanimous... to hell with the Senaturds, even if it means a lesser draft pick for the Habs! The pure joy (similar to the leafs choke of the century last week) of watching the Sens go down is too good to give up.

No. Pittsburgh wins in 5, if not in 4. It doesn't affect the Habs.

It's hard not to cheer for the Sens after a game like last night (Game 3).

Wait a minute you *******!

Actually, I don't care wich one goes to conference final, althou I hate stacked team and Ottawa is a bit of a cinderella team....

But my head says: Root for Ottawa, this way we gain one rank in the draft and this is the only important issue here for the Habs.

I'd probably cheer for the sens if they hadn't beat the habs, cause I usually cheer for underdogs. But with all the crap that happened in round 1, the homerism on CBC and the love karlsson gets vs subban... I want the pens to dominate and win.

Plus I'd love a penguins / hawks sc final.

Don't want to see the Pens repeat but I have some Sens fan friends who were beyond obnoxious to the point of just being ****** when they won, so I dunno...

I cheer for Ottawa because I met Eugene Melnyk at a bar in Miami, and he bought us a 2 pitchers, talked to us for maybe 10 minutes. Also told waitress she should talk to us because we are big deals in Canada, she didn't but hey he tried to get us in there.

I will never cheer for the team that destroyed Lars Ellers face just o win the series or has mr. walrus face that disrespects the opposition with 17 sec left. I will NEVER cheer for a fan base that won't admit that they got all the breaks from the refs and the NHL pit then they claim the SENS are the best team in the NHL. WIN or LOSE the fans should be fair and unbias and then gracious in winning or losing. Clearly the Sens fans are NOT and NOT and NOT. SO I am on the anybody but the SENS camp.

Ottawa winning gives the Habs another step up to 24th pick and if Detroit wins the Habs pick 23rd overall. Beautiful two more spots up makes trading up easier, the team trading usually wants a first back and 23rd isn't a bad pick. At 23rd Bergevin has a good chip at the table with say Montreal's 2nd and Dallas's 3rd to move up to 18th.

Then move Calgary's 2nd and the 18th for the 13th overall. The Habs can either do it that way or trade all of those picks and a roster player to Edmonton, Calgary or Carolina for a choice at the 5th, 6th, or 7th spot. This would leave them with a really good choice in the 1st and 2nd, with their 3rd, 6th & 7th picks.

At 5th the choices are a franchise type to join Galchenyuk, Nicushkin LW/RW is the epitome of a PF and his KHL contract is over in two yrs. Also there are the Swedes, Wennberg and Lindholm both are great players and are game changing forwards.(Centers) Darnell Nurse at defence is still evolving and will be a force when he fills out. Max Domi is the special talent I would like to see on the Galchenyuk line with Collberg, just absolute nightmare for goalies throughout the league.

If the Habs go Nurse and follow that up with Morin at 34th, they will have secured their defence for the future. Imagine a defence with Beaulieu, Diaz, Emelin, Gorges, Morin, Nurse, Subban, Tinordi and still have other prospects like Bennett, Thrower, Deitz and Didier. The Habs can either replace players traded or be part of a trade for
missing pieces for an Elite Team.

Bingo. It would give me great, no, AMAZING pleasure to see them bounced.

They didn't even deserve to be in that series.

I hope the Sens lose the rest of their games 9-0 and Gryba scores 8 own goals.
