I want to see how the Sens play at home before I say they're done.
The Islanders went home tied 1-1.

Could have swore they lost both at the Pens house. Regardless the home team is suppose to win Both home games.

You are never in trouble until, you lose a home game you are suppose to win.

The Kings put a lot of teams in trouble last year being 2-0 going Home.

That video is brutal. I feel for them.

LOL at the guy being consoled by his GF. HAHAHAHAHAHA. I show zero emotion toward Sharks' fans. I love it when they lose.

Neither am I. Their goaltending could go thermonuclear at any time.

Disagree you are in trouble going to 2-0 period. At 15% there will be 2 teams a year come back from it and win if every home team goes up 2-0 since there are 15 series a year. I know that the odds are going up in the cap era since we have already had 2 series this year have comebacks. But as the road team you biggest goal is to just get one.

I do agree that the home team is suppose to win both games but that is part of home ice advantage. Being able to put the other team in a hole.

I would bet that most series goes Six games.

I would like to see the percentage of teams that tie up a series after being down 2-0.

I bet that percentage is a lot higher than people think.

Doesn't mean you are going to win(the series), but you make a series of it.

You can still defend home ice, and lose a series....

I wish I had seats next to you to witness the reaction of those Sharks fans. I recall seeing something similar on my way out, exiting the arena way back in 2001 when the Kings won Game 3 of the series, which made it 2-1 in favor of the Wings at that point. I saw Wings fans with tears in their eyes leaving the arena. Their tears are so sweet.
One in particular was an a-hole the whole game. I was gritting my teeth, of course he was yelling at the top of his lungs about the Torres hit, how it was so unfair, then yelling Carter should be suspended for his hit on Vlasic, yada yada. When he finally yelled "Good call ref!" on a Kings penalty, I couldn't resist, telling him "Oh, now he's your friend."

These guys were absolutely catatonic as well. Just sitting there in disbelief, as Kings fans all around them went nuts. When the game ended, they got up and walked away in complete and utter silence.

I know, he had that vacant stare in his eyes as though he might go Postal on her at anytime. I had to look away, didn't want to be a witness to some domestic violence.

Watching the end of the NHL Tonight, Darren Pang looks like he's standing in a hole next to Kathryn Tappen. Holy Jumpin'!

Round 1 players mic'd up. Williams is one of them. Carter or Williams screaming at Penner to shoot the puck on that last second goal is captured here.

Looks like the Hawks/Wings series will be all-square heading to the Joe.

Too many people assumed that Chicago would walk through this series. Well, obviously they aren't going to.

How will the NHL talking heads spin their typical "Toews is so awesome. Intagibles!" angle this time? He's been a no show in the playoffs so far but he does no wrong in their eyes.

I hope people don't completely figure out that Chicago isn't a lock until we get there

Detroit has some fight this year! They've got a place in my heart already for making Anaheim's overachieving season meaningless.

Anyone else scared of Detroit? Especially the thought of playing in the Joe against Howard?

You have to beat the best to be the best, though.

I hope it goes seven. Let those two get tired.

I'm still busy being somewhat scared of the Sharks. Ask me again after we win a few more games.

If we make it to the WCFs, I can see the Kings adjusting their play to match well against either team.

Agreed. Especially with our road record and their home record.

P.J. Stock on CBC made a good point about the difference's between the Hawks & Wings defense. The Hawks just let the Wings forwards go to the net all game, while the Wings defense would punish the Hawks forwards driving to the net.

I'm more concerned about the Hawks regardless. Detroit is a scary team, just on the pure ability to power through using experience, but the Hawks play a style that is much more dangerous to us, in my opinion.

Not to mention that if it is the Wings we would have home ice. And with the way we have played at home this year is huge.

But that is getting way ahead of ourselves. We still need to win 2 more in this series.

Not nearly enough Kings. Although I though this was pretty funny:
Karl Alzner asking Derek Dorsett where “they found the aquarium to fit” his head.

That streak they had took a toll on them, you can't go thru something like that, with everyone counting only X games to go for the record, every game for weeks and not have it affect you. They were outstanding for the first part of the year, but haven't been as good, or consistant as the year ended. I only saw 2 of the Minny games but they didn't impress me much. And Kane and Toewes combining for 1 goal thru 7 should say a lot.
If the Wings weren't so tired from the coastal flight and game 7, they might have won game 1, Howard was very good.
The Joe is a tough place to play and it will be rockin' ...I wouldn't be surprised to see the Wings take both
And Babcock is a better coach , I thought he did a great job in game 7, he had them prepared and adjusted on the fly really well.
The Wings had a tough start to the year, way too many (at one point 11 ) injuries. But they got better as the year went on.

Great to see that Eric Staal won't need surgery, that hit look brutal. Has to be a huge relief for Canes fans.
