I feel bad for the Voltigeurs...

The Drummondville Voltigeurs are now in the worst situation any team can be in. They just lost Guillaume Latendresse to the Montreal Canadiens and they lost Derick Brassard to his shoulder injury (he's consensually out for the season). How crappy will the boys from La Ville de Poutine do this year?

Are you sure about Brassard being out for the season? I thought the timetable for his return had him hopefully being healthy by Christmas?

Regardless, the Volts are hurting for sure.

Nope, I heard that he's out anywhere between one and five months.

They are so unlucky this year, it's just unbelievable. Yesterday night they lost another player with a broken bone. Tii bad because they have a good coach with a good system. This was supposed to be their year... I guess they are paying for having drafted too good. It's a shame, but this is junior hockey.
I am sorry because they are not a rich organisation and they were building for this year. Let's hope next year will be better.

I follow the Q as a whole, not just the Cats...and I was really looking forward to seeing those two superstars one more time before they go pro. I guess the Drummondville org can take pride in developping two players such as those two, but still, what terrible luck given they were going to be a major force in the Q this year.
