lol Mike connolly out 47 games, seems like injuries have hit the avs a lot this year. Frolik out 6 games.

Interesting.

During the last advance Brad Stuart was traded off my team to Buffalo for Farth or some bum. I didn't make that trade. Weird that that happened. My team is getting closer to normal at least lol

At one point during that double sim, Cody Eakins was my 1C.

My forward depth is a joke right now. I think I lost a bunch of guys with the salary cap glitch.

I don't know, my 3rd and 4th lines might give yours a run for their money.

What a blood bath between and A combined 49 hits that game and all of them were bonecrushers. Krejci even got injured.

Ugh, my rust in this game combined with the fact my team lacks depth is making for some pretty ugly games.

May as well blame everything on Lundqvist.

great game against pits.

Avs were down 3-0 but really felt they weren't out of it yet; outshooting the pens nearly double the time. Avs eventually start the comeback with 5 min left in the 3rd, tieing the game in the final minute to force OT.

The avs take a penalty in OT but still manage to get the W thanks to some heroics from Jordan Staal, scoring shorthanded.

I wish Frolik played though, would have been nice to face his former team in pits.

That game winner sucked, the BH was fine but the fact that letang couldn't keep up with staal right after I call a time out was utter bs I didn't realize staal was known for his lighting quick speed lol

lol i was actually caught off guard too that staal had momentum to gain a step on letang, weird stuff. Fleury was in God mode for a while that game, went like almost 20 shots without a goal

You sent a request for the Flyers who were already taken. I sent you a message asking for you to pick another team and you never responded.

I'll accept your request once I get off work.

I should know better than to play Toronto while drunk on a Friday night. I should definitely know better than to pass the controller to my equally drunk and far less 'NHL13 experienced' buddies for the 2nd period versus Toronto.

Advancing now. Chicago is NOT a CPU GM. Do NOT play Chicago's CPU.

I was looking at the UFA goalie pool and I saw that Kipprusoff, Vokoun, and Thomas are still UFA's. This is a peeve of mine and it relates to the UFA rules, one problem I've seen in them since the beginning is that it leads to older goalies who ask for to much to stay as UFA's and rot there. They could be useful to a team for a season, so it would be nice if an amendment could be made to the UFA rules that any player over the age of 35 is allowed to be given a 1 year contract no matter what their overall is. Because irl no one is going to give a 37 year old player a multi year contract, most of the time it will be one year

I had been thinking about something to do with players who haven't signed by the start of the season. If you're willing to sign a player to the appropriate multi-year deal, then you get him. But if literally nobody wants to sign the player, then maybe lift the restrictions when the first block of the season hits? For the record, I have no problem with how things are, just throwing out an idea that crossed my mind before.
