Alright guys, NYI PM'd me a few days ago letting me know that he'd be away when his pick came up. He didn't give me a list, but said to just pick the BPA. I'm up in 3 picks, so to be fair I don't think I should do it, but would someone mind doing the auto-pick method to determine who they get?

If anyone wants to, you can take the top 5 NA and top 5 Euro players still available according to the NHL CSB rankings, and put them in some sort of online random generator. Whoever comes out no.1 , can be NYI's pick.

Thanks!

He's the son of a former Hab (another bad trade in the 90s) and he passes the puck as well as his Dad used to. Next year with Laughton and Jenner in the pros he'll need to step up and show his skills in the Top 6."

Good picks, as well as Ikonen, I had all considered them heavily before chosing Johnson and Yakimov

Recommend including top 2/3 goalies (NA&EU) unless specifically asked not to. I don't know about other peoples' lists, but I have some goalies ranked pretty highly "overall", and I might appreciate at least a "shot" at one of them in his/her shoes.

I was really wondering how far everyone was going to let him slip. I figured anyone who was willing to draft him in the first place would have done so before my next pick came up in the 4th round. Even I pussed out on picking him, though, because I was really looking for a goalie for Chicago. Yakimov>>Ikonen or Johnson, now and in the future, imo, but we'll see how it all plays out.

I've got a new 29'er that I'm heading out to flog, so "not it"!

I used the top 5 NA skaters, top 5 European skaters, top 3 NA goalies, and top 3 European goalies.

At pick 136, the NYI select from CSKA2, defenseman Sergey Stetsenko.

With the 137st overall pick, the Minnesota Wild are proud to announce the selection of Right Winger Gregory Chase from the Calgary Hitmen of the WHL.

i taught that the draft seedings were done for how you did in the play offs meaning the first 14 picks are for the teams not making the play offs then 15 to 22 is for the teams knocked out in first round 23 to 26 is for the losing teams in second round 27 and 28 for the losing teasms in conference final then you had the losing stanley cup final and finally the stanley cup champ picking 30. If that is so shouldn t we be picking 21 st overall.

The mock draft is started after the regular season, so we cant use the real order from playoffs result.

Also the order was changed from what you said, the 15-26 order are the teams losing in the 1st and 2nd rounds with the division winners being placed after all the non division winners.

Steal alert. His production went up in the play-offs, always a telling stat.

His production went down in the playoffs. I didn't see him play in the playoffs, so maybe he played better than he did in the season, but his playoff point pace was about 10 points less than his season.

With the 139th overall selection in the 2013 Habs board Mock Draft, the Detroit Red Wings are proud to select, from the Medicine Hat Tigers of the Western Hockey League...defenseman Tyler Lewington.

"A physical defender with decent size, Tyler is the type of player many organizations covet. He drops the gloves when needed, and sticks up for his teammates quite frequently. We're excited to add him to the organization, and feel he was definitely worth a pick in the middle of the 5th round."

18 - Bo Horvat
48 - Michael McCarron
79 - Remi Elie
109 - Viktor Arvidsson
139 - Tyler Lewington

Will PM next GM.
