I know. Gervais' been great in this year's international tournaments. He's currently the lead minute-eating defenseman for Team Canada at the World Championships this year.

Gotta love this two-way defensemen that can move the puck, log minutes, and remain responsible on the back-end. Can't wait for Gervais to---

Wait a second....

Marc Crawford is a train wreck as an in-game analyst.

USA wins in the shootout. They did way better than I thought they would pre-tourney.

Gibson is going to be a good one. Anaheim is very lucky.

qft, hard to imagine he's still only 19 yo

i hate shout outs in general and think it's ridiculously stupid to have them in medal games but it's still great to see US get bronze

Are they showing the gold medal game live in the US?

I agree. However on a larger ice surface players get worn down easier opposed to the smaller ice surfaces. I think that would be their argument.

------------------

Anyway strong tournaments from Stastny, Faulk, Oshie, and Galchenyuk. All four should be in contention for Sochi.

Gibson and Trouba for the future too.

Nope, NBCSN only broadcasted the US games and the QF games.

That's stupid. There are streams available online though just like every game so far this tournament. Pretty crappy quality though.

I haven't looked around for the best sites but this site seems to have everything (playoffs and world championship) http://www.streamhunter.eu/hockey-li...ing-video.html

Yeah but it's the medal game. I'm mean its win or lose there are no more games. I rather watch a team play actual hockey even if it tired, slow and sloppy then a skills competition.

I find it more ****ed up when you go to the IIHF page on Youtube, they have all the game streaming and yet it says it's not available in our country... ****ing ********... Is it because the US couldn't make money off of it so they wouldn't allow it?

They're showing a replay, at least according to the tv listing on comcast.

if you have firefox, try using this: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/fir...ddon/stealthy/

just make sure its on (green icon instead of red) and in preferences under "Select the kind of use" make sure the option that reads "Get a proxy from a random location, used if you want to fake your location to access services that are blocked where you are...". if that doesn't work just mess around with the preferences a bit (there aren't many options so it shouldn't take long).

it's worked for me in the past, it just takes a little longer to load sometime. which is why i exclusively use it when i need it cause it can be a pain in the neck.

It's not just the US. I tried to watch it too but it is blocked out in a whole bunch of countries. Only chance you can use their YT-stream is if you are using a computer located in a mountain village in eastern Kazakhstan.

If you want streams, Wiziwig is the place.

Can't believe the people who were comparing Gustafsson to Randy Jones. He's playing so amazingly in this tournament, just as he did to close out this year as well as the Pens' series last year.

If you couldn't tell already, I'm all aboard the Gus hype train. Can't wait for next year.

I'm actually kind of torn though. I've loved Sweden since Forsberg became my favorite player in the 90's, and Gus would look great with a Gold Medal. Still, a Gold for the Swiss would be unbelievably huge.

It's almost kind of funny.

Gustafsson didn't look like anything special playing for Terry Murray's Phantoms. Injuries started happening, he gets promoted, and his game goes from stagnating to hyperactive. It was a similar situation with Schenn. Struggled early, but continued to improve as the season went on. Chalking this up to the leadership of Timonen (Gustafsson) and Pronger (Schenn).

I watched the Swiss-US replay, and right as I tuned in Carle held the puck...held...defender moves towards him with his legs together...Carle hits him in the shins with a wrist "shot," guy immediately takes the puck and skates it up the ice.

I'm upset that I had to watch that on a team I cheer for again. I thought I was done with that.

Fate is a cruel mistress, Beef. Try being Canadian and rejoicing in Crosby's gold-winning goal.
